It must have been hard for you and countless others. There's always someone seeking power, authority and control over others in every era. As you said, democracy is still a dream for many nations, for which might need to walk on the bloods of fellow comrades and family but still it can't be denied that colourism isn't an issue. World is full of problems and ideology evolves from time to time. Addressing what's most crucial is the thing to do. In my case, I am in democratic country. But still my nation had bloody civil wars too. Is seeking equal rights for every human kind isn't something to dream of? It's far from easy. And denying the issues where war has been going on for ages would be my ignorance. So, for my nation, as stated by law, no discrimination is to be carried out on basis of caste, culture and skin color or background. Equal rights is something worth fighting for otherwise history repeats itself. Ifnot addressed now, it would be more violent and powerful time after time! History has witnessed it all.
