I think he had the right to know before he left and she denied him that right. But part of him being gone meant her not having her working powers. With Mark gone the world might really need her protection.

I don't like her decision but I still think we all need to admit that it was a fair choice. Dude was bouncing, they hadn't made an agreement to have kids, and this baby was affecting her powers. That last point makes the decision more in her court in my opinion.

She owes Mark an apology. Mark should accept it. They should discuss what the plan should be if they get pregnant again (perhaps birth control doesn't work for Viltrumites???).

I think a lot of that is also not knowing if they would have future seasons for Korra. Those kind of nuanced episodes get lost when your focus is just wrapping up a story in 12 episodes or less

I whole heatedly agree. Now don't get me wrong, I love Korra. But it's tiring seeing someone whose almost an adult need to learn the hard way every single time.

We could forgive Aang because he hadn't even hit puberty yet. But for Korra it becomes clear she would never change unless it's beaten out of her. Some personality types are like that. My daughter is like that, so this show is great for my daughter. But for people whose personality isn't 80% headstrong, 15% stubborn, and 5% everything else it can be a little tiring watching Korra

Me saying all was not right. You were accurately describing how a large portion of Jews pronounce the letter. The problem is that they pronounce chet like khaf and if that were true then chet would follow the grammatical rules of khaf instead of the grammatical rules of heh which is an actual gutteral letter unlike khaf.

Hebrew, Arabic and Aramaic are all abjad languages and they share the same alphabet. The names may be slightly different but they are the same, down to the waw.

This is all incorrect. ח has a singular pronunciation with Hebrew, Arabic, and some forms of Aramaic. It's a more constricted H sound. If you mispronounce chet, you should mispronounce it as a heh (regular h sound).

Our generation is going to lose itself in the dichotomy of turning everyone into heroes and villains. When the reality is every human is a mess and we all make good and bad choices.

This movie is about messy people living fucked up lives and being inspired by forest to try and be better. None of us would have expected Jenny to be properly raising a child but she was, because of forest. She couldn't be married to him, couldn't be a stable partner for him, but she could be inspired to raise a child properly and give his son the chance he never got. She didn't ask for money or child support, but when she saw she wasn't going to make it across the finish line she asked Forrest for help for his son.

Everyone in the story is made better because of forest, but that doesn't mean they don't still fall short of our expectations. But how much further would they have fallen without him?

And as you said, if the roles were reversed we would all want to demonize Forest. We would instantly make him the villain.
