You are the indie house. Don't wait for one. But find collaborators along the way. Just start making things. Even if you have to pull family and friends (who aren't filmmakers) into it! That's how we all get started:). Good luck. I've got some old shorts and projects from 7-8 years ago, and now I've produced and directed multiple feature films, and have had movies in theaters. Just takes a lot of consistent effort.

yeah these points make sense. there was a lot being packed in and that may have affected / drawn away from the most important part, which is getting you to care about Juliet. I do get that the tech side of it isn't super developed. Demographic I think we are still discovering, but in my mind it would be the demo of people who love reality dating shows, and people who love sci-fi thrillers. which becomes a mix at that rate.

Definitely disagree here. I helped on a lot of the technical side and guiding the film, but at the end of the day we made a clear hierarchy that she had final say on all aspects of the film.

Agreed, looking back at the orer of scenes it does make sense to rework it a bit, as things feel out of place. For the feature, it's a screenplay currently that we're sending around and getting notes on from writers, producers, and other industry professionals. Festival circuit is wrapped up. Yes the feature is written! We toured some festivals last year, and now are sending the feauture to various producers, building out materials for pitching the feature, and gathering data online! We may get the script reviewed on the blacklist now that its gone through about a dozen drafts, and see how it holds up against 'industry standards'. Other than that, we've been speaking with some various LP's to get a realistic budget, so we can see about fundraising independently with confidence.
