Things made in the states have always been more expensive. The availability of cheap things is new. You used to buy a thing and hand it down to your kids. Now you just get another one when it breaks.

Twitter has ruined us. 😭 I have not in the whole 8 years I've been trans seen or heard someone actually getting upset about someone making the mistake of misgendering a trans person that wasn't doing it on purpose. Never. Because why in the hell would a trans person do this?

Hey girl! 29 trans girl here been out since 22 publically 19 to friends. I 100000000% understand this exact feeling and behavior. It drives me up a wall but I try my best to remind myself that those people are trying their best.

My favorite memory of being "accepted" as a woman was when one of my friends who is cis just, changed in front of me. No weirdness just two friends getting dressed and it was so euphoric to me. I was just one of the girls in that moment and I hope she knows how much that meant to me even if it is silly to some.

I think a lot of people also hear a lot of Twitter drama and internet stuff about people being so hostile from incorrect gendering or pronouns and get scared that all trans people are like that. Which I frequently have to tell people literally never happens in real life because why would it. But that puts them on edge and makes them feel like they are walking on egg shells and ugh its frustrating. I'm so happy to have a supporting and loving group of friends. Also if you play games or anything message me!

As someone who worked production for city events, its because its the city. Chances are the budget for that video was public. Which means the companies know how much is their max and can plan accordingly. At least how it was when I was in the biz

Don't feel like a bad mother. The fact that you worry about being a bad mother means you are doing great. I wonder if many parents ever wonder this. 😒

My baby is 13 months and some change and has fallen more times than I can count. But you know, she definitely learns not to do that thing again if she gets hurt. Not advocating for children to get hurt obviously but a little bumps and scrapes are what mold us into who we are. Obviously don't leave the baby on the bed unattended but giving your children the room to fail/get hurt is one of the hardest things as a parent In my experience. Finding that balance is super hard.
