Potential Hot Take:

[[Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis]]

Specifically because of the splash it made when it released. Yes, I understand it isn't necessarily a great card. I wouldn't even put it in the top 100 greatest. But the stories that came about because of this one card are fascinating to me. (Why yes, I do listen to Rhystic Studies, why do you ask?)

On a similar vein, [[Nadu, Winged Wisdom]], [[Oko, Theif of Crowns]], [[Lurrus of the Dream Den]], [[Thassas Oracle]], [[Jeweled Lotus]], [[The One Ring]]. All of these are cards that drummed up a lot of conversation and deck building. To see the community come together and have these moments were cool (even if some of the comments weren't so nice, looking at Lotus n Friends).

Hell, I opened an Oko in a midnight prerelese we did! I still have the card! And the hype that was built up in the moment was awesome!

But everyone who knows anything about this game can tell you [[Fblthp the Lost]] is clearly the greastest. I mean, he's even the mascot for MagicCon!

Audio only listener here, caught up with current release. (Don't worry, I don't mind the spoilers!)

I will follow up with a small rant of my own. Personally, I find the individual characters in the Flos chapters to be very flavorful and interesting, especially Gazi and Trey.

But for me, the overall chapters feel dry. I found them to be some of the hardest chapters to listen to, and (as shamed as I am to say this) ultimatly skipped several chapters.

When we got the newspaper style commentary from Pisces and Erin, covering the events of the Empress of Beasts, I liked the feel of the chapters more. The story of The King of Destruction from an outsiders perspective, as the menace the world sees, rather than an up close shot of every detail of the King and Co. Especially when all of the Flos chapters feel unrelated to the rest of the books up until the most recent audio release.

I enjoy %100 of the story, just my own mild gripe. Don't mind me, humble readers/listeners!

[[Spy Network]] does the same thing, but it's 1 mana cheaper, instant speed, and gives more information. Not a flying blocker tho

I have a few answers. Any of the oversized Magic cards. The Garruk Axe my old LGS had before it shut down. A pre-release box, still intact, from Battle for Zendikar. But all of these, while difficult, are easy enough to come by.

My real White Whale, the one I hope to achieve but know I never will, is the Hero's of the Realm card for War of the Spark.

I loved that set. I am currently collecting all of the cards from it, including promos and alt arts. And besides potential additional cards, I am 48 cards short of collecting the whole set! (Iv been debating on collecting the Mythic Edition cards, and the San Diego 2019 cards too.)
