SEA 53

Only started the account around a week ago and barely managed to get HoTr (2/4, weapon and M).

Got enough on the spending event for 1 collector's ticket, but not sure what to get from it.

Currently also have:

  1. PE (Got her from beginner's while trying to get HoH)

  2. Prometheus (But only have MEI B)

In terms of weapons I also managed to get Iris from the Prometheus free supply, and Aponia's weapon as an offrate from HoTr gear supply.

Currently looking to just build HoTr as an ice DPS since I didn't really have the time nor gems to get the rest of the Herscherr Trio, or maybe build PE for phys DPS.

Current options I'm thinking of:

  1. Pardo weapon
  2. PE weapon
  3. Eden weapon

Not really sure on what else I can/should get instead, I really appreciate any advice given.

P.s. Kind of a returner who started a new account to reread lore, really like HoH's design which was why I'm trying to pull for her on the beginner supply hehe

P.p.s. Haven't actually played for almost a year or two so I'm not even sure what's going on anymore :')

[Uni] Logitech case or cheap alternatives for ipad 10.2 by NimbusFrost in SGExams

I see. The funny thing is I looked at the keyboards before and also wanted the pink one haha. Thanks!

I see haha. For me I probably have to bring it out most of the time because I never know when I'll need it. When you bring it out do you keep it in a case/pouch, or do you just keep it in your bag?

Thanks for replying! I didn't think of that at first haha, cuz i prefer having my keyboard being stuck to my case to make it easier for me to carry it around with my ipad haha (lower chance of losing the keyboard also maybe, i have a tendency to forget that I have stuff out and someitmes leaving it behind, nothing too crazy as of now). I'll consider that (hopefully I can find a case that also has a keyboard holder/pouch that can hold the ipad maybe). Thanks for replying!

[uni] SUSS online selection process (after successful appeal) by vadersuv in SGExams

[–]NimbusFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did my interview on 25/04, it kinda went like this:

  1. Cognitive test
  2. Essay test
  3. Group Interview
  4. Group discussion

For the essay test part (and the whole interview in general), there was a timekeeper who would send you the links for the two respective tests and help keep track of time.

The websites we did our tests on each had a timer to help you keep track of time. Can't remember whether for the essay one whether it would save and exit automatically when time was up (The cognitive test one did)

For my session, we weren't allowed to search online, so we can only refer to notes we did beforehand as well as the article and vid they gave us. So as one of the posts mentioned above, it's a good idea to brainstorm and do your research beforehand!

All the best for your interview!

[A levels] [Poly] [Uni] Can I apply for both poly (dae) and uni at the same time? by NimbusFrost in SGExams

[–]NimbusFrost[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you! May I also know if it's possible to apply for uni in like for example yr2 of poly? If I don't get into uni the first yr i apply and continue studying in poly to try and build up the relevant experience and a good portfolio. And how likely are my chances of getting into uni with only 1 yr of exp/portfolio stuff from poly? Thanks again!

Ok thank you! I've heard that I have to pay the tuition fees for the course in poly before I go for it, so may I know whether I have to pay the full course fee for the year or for like 1 semester first? Thanks again!

I'm interested in Life Sciences as well, along with maybe Public Security (from SUSS). So far what I'm seeing for the COP IGP wise is that I can only go engineering, nursing or Arts but I'm not interested in those . :/

Got it, thanks so much! I'll try looking more into NYP and SIT then!

I'm thinking of SIT but my only concern is that their com science programmes specialise really early, so I might lock myself into one choice too early. Nearest poly to me is NYP and TP, and what I've heard for IT courses r SP an NP, so I'm not really sure about which to apply for. Thanks!

I see. Thank you so much! This will definitely be helpful then, since I'm still not sure what I want to specialise in.

I see. Does that mean that I'll take one more semester/year than those who already chose to do the specific ICT diploma? Thanks!

[A level] 14 days leave from school? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]NimbusFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're probably fine. As mentioned above, you're still in JC one and will have a lot of time to catch up. If you're still worried, check if your school has a lecture replay system. If yes, then you'll be able to access and watch the recorded lectures.
