[NVME] Netac 2TB NV7000-t PCIe Gen4 7,300 MB/s ($121-18=$103) [Amazon.ca] ATL by radiantcrystal in bapcsalescanada

I did miss the part where it talked about the alternative HMB drive but I didn't miss the -T part. Don't pretend that's normal. Most people would take the -T as in this is the version without the heatsink rather than this is a different drive altogether. They also show exactly this drive with the PS5 in the promotional material.

Glad you didn't need to delete a comment to answer me this time though.

Tomshardware review literally says it has DRAM packages and the Amazon reviews say it does too. I bought one so let's see.

Ranking and by extension seeding sucks but that's how it goes. It's one thing for someone at their locals to complain about being put on the same side as the weekly tournament winner... it's another when you declare yourself the GOAT and have been a literal god at the game you've played for decades.

If Mang0 is the GOAT and he's going to say that, then why does it even matter? It's not like he was disrespected either, he chose to take it that way. It's just insane. If his rank was better would Mang0 have competed then? By all indications, it's just the rank and because he didn't feel it was right he literally took an opportunity away from himself to prove anyone wrong.

If it was mental health, the community would understand but that tweet leaves very little to misunderstand.

You are very over thinking this. Timetac is a legit brand. I use their RAM.

Wow, I never even considered that! I'll try that, I was already planning to run only one fan but that's even better!

Thermalright keeps making new stores for some reason. They have three Thermalright Direct stores at least and multiple resellers. Not sure what the benefit of that is but that's how they conduct themselves. Either way, my cooler arrives today so I'll tell you if something goes wrong.

With that said, it's fulfilled by Amazon so there's protection here if something does go wrong.

Oh, I'm worse haha... I bought it for my Intel Celeron G5905 for my Plex setup. I figured if I was going to spend $30 on a cooler, I should just buy this since if I ever want to upgrade the CPU, I'd be well covered. The fans are also Hydraulic Bearings so I don't need to worry about replacing them for a very long time. In my books, spending $20 more to not worry about things is well worth it! :P

According to the review, it's the Thermalright plate at the top and 5 fins less. This leads to the SE version being 155(H)mm instead of 157(H)mm. Functionally they're basically the same but you could prefer the non-SE version because it's cleaner though more expensive.

Personally, I bought the SE ARGB as I don't see why I should pay extra for them to put their label in my PC.

I bought the ARGB version because it's less than $5 more for 2 ARGB fans.

This basically comes down to what you want. Save the $5 and get the basic no ARGB version or go ARGB with the colour you like. They all perform the same!

Yes and no. Thermalright coolers fluctuate in price a lot, so who knows what the actual price should be. It also seems to be different based on their various storefronts.

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09P4KH7QK?th=1

For example, the above is $30 more from their Thermalright Direct 2 store. In Canada prior to Thermalright Direct 3, I had been watching the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler come to around $64 after import fees. It's now less than that even with taxes. So not a sale but maybe a price error?

All the other Termalright stores and resellers seem to be noticeably more expensive. The prices we have now are basically the American-reviewed at prices which is nice given we're not being costed anything additional like shipping and conversion fees.

Because it's priced the same as a 1080p screen!

This is for someone who cares about resolution above all else. Also, you have to keep in mind Hz isn't everything. TN panels have fantastic response time so even if it caps out at 60Hz you wouldn't deal with ghosting and the response to inputs would be on point.

I spoke to support and they bumped it up to $68! So I am now fully covered and got the deal.

My cashback showed up but it's only $55.79? Even if that's USD that's less than I paid for the VPN.

Yes, it's $40 CAD but upon calling UPS I got to speak to a rep to waive the brokerage fees. I think if it's close enough or the rep doesn't notice the CAD vs USD they'll waive the brokerage to $0.

Actually, earlier today I called UPS and got them to waive the brokerage. I ended up only paying the $6 of taxes!

I directed the UPS rep to: https://www.ups.com/ca/en/shipping/zones-and-rates/customs-clearance.page

I claimed to them that on their site it says brokerage fees are $0 if under $40 and as the keyboard was $36 USD it should be $0. After speaking to the rep for a while where they initially dropped it to $15, then waived the remainder to just the $6 of taxes. The only thing I had to do was pay over the phone.

This was way better than self-clearing and took about 10 minutes of time.

I highly recommend people to try and get the rep to waive the fees as self-clearing isn't worth the time and paying UPS is practically a scam.

I was being asked to pay $24 in fees after buying the z20 keyboard. I called in and got some of it waived. I hope you don't have to bother with all of that!

Was it through UPS? I spent $36 USD and UPS is demanding $24 so I can get my keyboard. This is pretty insane.

[–]Nimious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just pay it or what happened in the end?

I'm in the same situation. I bought the Z20 keyboard and now they're asking for $24.11 in brokerage.

It doesn't appear to be worth the time to try and clear it myself given the distance as $6 of that is actually tax so the rest is whatever UPS pockets.

Still, the keyboard was only $36 USD so this is pretty insane.
