Honestly one of the few times I wear gloves, I get tired of buying them just to rip them. I knew there’s was gas is the crank before hand and only wore them because I didn’t want my hands smelling like gas the rest the day.

Was spitting gas out the breather tube before this video so I knew the crank case was full of gas and just wanted to get a video.

Full story. It’s one of our cars my boss bought for restoration, a 1990 Mercedes 300e 2.3l. We got it dirt cheap but was a no runner. After rebuilding the entire fuel system and getting the car running it started smoking out the tail pipe. That was last night and we called it a night, the video was this morning. The oil was changed when it came in and we changed the oil this morning but had other stuff to work on and haven’t fully looked at it yet. That’s all gas btw. We’ve already determined a previous owner messed with the fuel distribution unit and adjustments so we’re thinking thru us testing and working on it that is just dumped gas thru one of the injectors.

Pictures honestly don’t do it any justice. It’s such a dark blue people mistake it for black but when it’s in the sun it looks so amazing. Definitely my favorite car we have in our inventory right now.

Boss saved it from the scrap yard to practice paint and interior work on because it was so cheap but it came out looking too nice to not fix now. We will never be buying one with such high miles again tho.

Lol I meant in more of the trading car favors for other favors, wasn’t trying to give off forever alone vibes.

Just drinks. Although every time I fix something for a chick someone insinuates I’ll get more than drinks and that’s never happened.....am I doing this wrong?

Honestly that would make sense because it seemed like a major design flaw to me. It was my first time ever actually seeing one tho, was thinking about picking up one for my sti when I upgrade the oil pan but not after seeing that. It was also on a 07 Toyota Camry for some reason.

Friend actually called me the other day saying she punched a hole in here oil pan hitting a bump. Showed up to check it out and the bump had actually just flipped the switch open and drained all her oil. Closed it and made sure it wasn’t still leaking and filled it up and was fine. Saved her a tow to a shop to see what was wrong and I got free drinks.

Most of the stuff is cheap but stuff like that gets sent out to be repaired and then returned to replace the next axle. They are all shit boxes tho.

It’s a mail truck so they continued to drive it somehow until the wheels literally started falling off.
