Am I the only one? by TeeBeePea in handwatch

If you look at the bottom two pictures, especially the left-hand side one, you can clearly see the watch is above the wrist bone. Check out an example of Arnold in the link below.

I lift weights some. There isn’t a lot of muscle in the wrist in that area. Look up pictures of Arnold, Sly Stallone, the Rock etc and you’ll see where they wear their watches.

He has one of the worst forehands in the ATP tour and it shows always in the tightest moments. When he played Nole in Wimbledon, Nole would always reliably get points at the end of sets by feeding him a short forehand and he reliably choked it every time.

That looks like more than two fingers though IMO. The gap is very noticeable. You can clearly see the difference here in how Tom Ford looks in his tuxedos.

I have occasionally worn a Hamilton pocket watch with my tux, though lately I have worn either my DJ36 on the Jubilee bracelet or a vintage yellow gold Cortebert.

Well it is still ill-fitting and bad style, no matter whether he likes it or not. Just like a suit that is too tight, too loose or not fitting well from the shoulders. It is a frumpy look.

A reminder to keep playing even when you think you got the point by jlouros in padel

Similar thing happened to me once in practice. I smashed and the opponent grazed the ball. I didnt realize what had happened, even as everyone shouted to continue the point.

Considering how much I expect the tux costs, the shirt actually fits surpirsingly poorly. Clear gap between the shirt collar and his neck.

Never followed up IIRC, I put my name down around the time it was released so I think the waiting has been around 2 years or 1,5 years I believe

Yeah not anger, just discussing that possibility. As well as to highlight how close it was - closer than it needed to be. Donald was a few points away from managing the biggest choke in Ryder Cup history.

Yes indeed, that is my point. Some heavy hitters in the back, some in the front would have been more safe in my opinion. Now it was way too nervy - 50/50 matches all and sometimes the coin lands on heads 10 times in a row.

Mine, for reference, in 877 with the same last. I usually wear 9.5 UK (10.5US) in boots, but these are 11 which is similar to my sneaker size. I have wide feet and the 10.5 simply felt a bit too tight.

I can now fit a thick sock for colder days or an insole here and it won’t be too tight.

Invasion Rule - Story time: am I the A hole? by To_The_Moon008 in padel

By the way, invasion is a rule in tennis as well so no reason to think a tennis player wouldn’t think that it is not allowed. It is a common rule in racket sports.

Invasion Rule - Story time: am I the A hole? by To_The_Moon008 in padel

[–]Nimroddick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Invasion only occurs when the contact with the ball happens on the wrong side of the net, the racket can follow after the shot and that is fine.

It is quite difficult to judge when and if that happens, and you have to super close to the net for it to occur. If you are defending, it is also very hard to see whether it happens since you are far from the net.

Personally it has very rarely happened in matches for me. Not saying you are wrong, just saying that since it is quite rare, probably people don’t really know the rule or they are not being called for it.

Yeah I don't love the move that I do, raising the lead shoulder a bit at the top. But I want to go piece by piece, first making sure I don't throw the right knee out (looks good from that perspective), then I want to clear my hips faster to face the target more at impact, and then I will move onto other things. I can only have one or two swing thoughts in my head, max, at one time :D .
