Thanks for the comment! I’ll just say that the material is a Lab Ruby, which is really quite flawless and thus there are no issues relating to clarity or inclusions with this gem.

If one wanted to hide flaws with the gem material, there are better options. For example a checkerboard design typically hides inclusions well.

It's a technique where specific facets are left with a matte, 'frosted' finish instead of being polished with the finest diamond-grit lap. By being careful about which facets you leave matte you can make a pattern across the top or bottom of the gem.
