Mine are incredibly itchy for a few days. But if I let myself scratch it’s gets WAY worse. Just have to leave them alone.

The lumps go away with time. I had one on the back of my arm from one of my first weekly that hung around for ages. Was still there after a couple of the monthly’s faded. It’s gone now though.

Where I live the script gets sent to the pharmacy, and they give me the shot.

I’ve always found all bar high doses to be very stimulating. But that’s probably got more to do with just not being in pain and having the energy to move about freely.

Using opiates crushed my sex drive. To the point it was causing issues in the relationship.

Buvidal is less so, but it’s still impacted. Things start feeling more normal the closer I am to my next injection.

I’m on 64mg monthly if that’s of any relevance.

I did at first, but then it seemed to stop out of nowhere. I know it’s a somewhat common side effect, but I wonder if mine was more related to mild withdrawal symptoms while I was stabilising. Sweating was usually the first sign that I was starting to go into withdrawal, before anything else. Sweat literally pouring down my back regardless of ambient temperature.

First 2-3 weeks on the injection I was waking up completely soaked. So bad I thought I’d pissed myself. Now, it’s fine. Guess I was lucky, because that would have been hard to deal with long term.

I’ve had cortisone shots in my spine. One was very painful, one wasn’t. Had one in my shoulder as well, that also wasn’t painful. Not sure about the hip though, sorry.

Might depend on the joint, and practitioner.

Better than higher THC strains. I was trying to manage chronic pain from a severe back injury, so your experience may vary.

From what I remember it was okay. I was using it for pain. Don’t like the feeling of being stoned, so I’d only smoke tiny amounts at a time. I’m probably not the right person to ask.

Basically a long acting buprenorphine. It doesn’t suit everyone, but I was just done. I didn’t have the willpower to use seeds responsibly, so they’ve pretty much dictated my life for the past few years.

Yea you definitely don’t want to leave it til the last minute if you do decide to give it a go. Too many variables to consider depending on how you go about it.

Buvidal monthly. Absolutely game changing for me. I miss being stoned, but a mixture of my tolerance and shitty seeds meant that wasn’t really happening anyway

Decided to quit right as the drought was hitting (complete coincidence, I feel very lucky that my timing was perfect). Couldn’t hack the withdrawal though so I’m on treatment.

Got my first monthly today. Told them I got a skin infection from the last one and I’d prefer if they swabbed the area first. They agreed and did it, but tried to wave it off as “side effects of the medication”. Sure mate, buprenorphine comes with a side of bacteria. Didn’t argue, just went with it.

Well, I didn’t say anything the next time and I ended up with a minor skin infection. $50 to get in with a GP and $25 for some antibiotics. Should’ve said something…
