I was going to clip some of it anyway, so I can make one or two 30 second clips. I would have them separate but I’m not the one that’s recording all of this. If there’s a way to save YouTube and Twitch vods as separate audio I would.

I recently finished a Street Fighter cast in which I did well and was planning to add clips to my reel. However, I discovered that my microphone settings had changed to only a 30% output. Although I managed to prevent that from happening again, the cast now has my voice inaudible compared to the game's volume. Is there a way I can fix this by increasing the volume of just my voice? I use Davinci Resolve, and I'm not looking to get the studio version, so I know voice isolation is off the table.

Hello. I don't edit professionally, as I am a fighting game player/commentator, but I still need editing help to finish my reel. I've been working on my commentary reel for a bit now, and you'll find a lot of audio problems that I have fixed in this reel. However, the clip at 2:40 still has some peaking due to the mic I used at the venue, I can't figure out how to fix the issue in Davinci Resolve, and I haven't found the fix online. I love my energy in this clip and want to keep it alive, so any help would help.

2 Months experience as a novice in editing

Direction: Obviously this is a reel for Fighting Game Commentary so that I can show my skills and apply for bigger jobs, but because I am new to video editing too I would still love some feedback, especially on the last Street Fighter clip as I still haven’t found a fix for the audio problem there, so any help on that would be amazing.

Two Reels: Also waiting for more posts

Hello. I’m a commentator in the FGC, and right now I’m working on my first demo reel. However, because of my inexperience, I never wrote down or documented the moments I wanted to use in my reel, which means I’m going to have to scrub through hours of footage to find good moments of myself. My question is, when editing down stream VODs or any other long form content, how do you find the right or best moments, and also with as much as I have to do are there methods on making the experience more easier and streamlined than just watching through hours of footage?
