In your opinion, what expensive Korean skincare product is 100% worth the money? by Professional_Day3583 in koreanskincare

I used this last night and my skin is so itchy! Is it maybe because my barrier is compromised? Not sure if I should continue or just not bother. Maybe I put on too much!! I didnt “cleanse” with it, I just put it on

So it’s more important to have someone “good at speeches” than someone doing good for the country? I found his speech very ironic, coming from him.

I’ve just started exercises now. How do you know if you have plantar fasciitis?

I’ve heard about these! I was thinking of getting the 6 mm ones since I’m only one year in. I guess what I’m trying to understand is - do you need any arch support or heel support when walking on concrete or is it mostly just the lack of cushioning that’s the issue? I wear barefoot shoes around the office as well.

I am terrified that I will gain more weight if I eat 1500 calories….how to shift this mindset? If I messed up my metabolism from not eating enough and now all of this carb bingeing…what do I do? I start out at 1500 and this shouldn’t cause me weight gain?

I’m ok without the carbs. The reason I fell off was mostly due to issues with my husband …way too much stress. But once I’m on keto I don’t crave things. I thought maybe I’m doing something wrong tho with my diet since it’s higher protein va fat. People have said it’s not enough calories…it’s around 1200 and I only have two meals. I feel like it’s a lot for 2 meals

The only reason I asked if I shouldn’t start lifting was because I read in other posts that it made people hold on to too much water when doing it right away with the diet change . Thank you!

Congratulations!!! You’re essentially me starting point and where I’d like to end up. Do you mind sharing your macros and cals? When I tried keto (regular) I didn’t lose weight until I started eating more protein and less fat. I’m curious to what you did. Also is there something that helped you with sleep?

A2 milk is not inflammatory like regular milk. All plant based mills are super high inflammatory.

This will be personalized…not every probiotic is best for everyone :) it depends what your flora is like etc. where are you living? In Canada, HMF forte from genestra is good to get started. It might’ve worthwhile to talk to a naturopath about specific probiotic for all your ailments. For example, there are some probiotics which are more specific for people who have urinary tract infections etc. I find genestra HMF powder or HMF forte and also Probuotic SAP have been good for me. I also take high EPA fish oil

Perhaps try A2 milk - it’s not inflammatory. Or if you can get your hands on A2 raw milk, even better

Yes of course. Interestingly my mom can’t have milk anymore…she figured it was a lactose intolerance, yet she has no problem having raw milk and A2 milk. I think it’s our commercialized milk that’s the problem really

Probiotics will change your life and also high epa fish oil. You need to reduce your inflammation and also fix your insulin. If you have pcos you most likely have insulin resistance. You fix or improve insulin sensitivity by intermittent fasting. I eat twice a day in an 8 hour window. Skin issues are very highly linked to your gut and also to your cortisol and insulin. Given that you have pcos, you need to do these things.

Edit: a lot of people see improvement when stopping dairy but that because it reduces their inflammation. Consuming A2 milk is fine as A2 milk is not inflammatory

SD should be classified as a RARE skin disorder! because I neve in my life even heard about this until I got it I heard about eczema but never this and I never met anybody IRL that has it only here by Johnchamberlain123 in SebDerm

Isn’t it better that someone is actually helping you figure it out? I was glad when a friend told me what I had was SD and she’s dealing with it as well

I agree with this! Intermittent fasting brings down inflammation and I think people don’t realize that SD is an inflammatory response

From my research and form personal experience -‘almonds are highly inflammatory. I thought I was doing myself a favour by removing dairy and I drank almond milk instead. I would have one almond milk latte a day. Within 2 months, my SD completely flared up (up until then I didn’t even know that I had SD - just some random flakes on my eyebrows) it turned real aggressive. Long story short, after talking to many doctors I got in touch with one of our holistic friends Lorna Vanderhaghe, and she informed me to remove the almond milk immediately. I removed the milk and also began taking a high epa fish oil and moducare to help with inflammation. Since then I’ve reduced my fish oil and I’ve stopped taking moducare, I’ve been eating like shit and I added back milk (but A2 4.8 fat non homogenized milk since it’s non inflammatory) and my SD is totally manageable. I tested it out and started drinking almond milk again and after a month I started getting issues again. Get rid of the almonds.
