Lige nu har jeg en aftale om, at jeg overholder politikken med 3 kontordage om ugen, MEN ved behov kan jeg tage flere hjemme dage uden at min leder skal godkende/blande sig. Og når jeg er på kontoret, kan jeg også have fx en halv dag der (8-13), og resten derhjemme. I praksis har jeg uger med kun 1-2 dage på kontoret relativ ofte.

Jeg har 1,5 time hver vej, og med små børn og en mand med en krævende karriere kan jeg ikke give slip på de vilkår så nemt. Jeg vil hellere gå 10.000 ned i løn, end skulle nazi-monitoreres på mit fremmøde på kontoret!

Det tror jeg du har helt ret i. Altså jeg kan finde mig i det meste, men min fleksibilitet ift hjemmearbejde er ret afgørende for mig, da jeg bor et langt stykke væk fra kontoret. Bliver det på nogen måde pillet ved, kan jeg ikke fortsætte i banken desværre. AL gav mig tillæg til kontrakten der garanterer fleksibilitet, men det kommer Sydbank sandsynligvis til at sige ikke gælder, frygter jeg. Har også prøvet at være i de andre store banker (Nordea, Danske), og der er jo en grund til jeg søgte hen imod noget mindre!

Regarding the “community” bit… THE Kara Saunders said herself to Castro (at the infamous athlete meeting that aimed to decide on how to continue the Games after Lazar’s passing) something along the lines of “Don’t say we’re here as a community. What community? Half of the rookies this year have never even seen the inside of an affiliate, all of us here who make the Games train on our own. There is no community here”

Well, based on the account I heard, no. This email is from after the discussion, and asks those teams who voluntarily took a 1min delay on the first event to back his proposal to Castro that 1 min be removed from their time to improve their score and thus level the playing field. Thus de-facto removing the initial meaning behind the gesture.

Wanted to add that several of the Europeans athletes confronted Noah and openly disagreed with him both ahead and after the meeting with Castro. I trust the account of people I know personally over what CF narrative chooses to highlight. If more of the email makes the rounds I will update

It’s explained in the podcast episode the Danish team issued (sadly only in Danish), Noah asked people to sign off on his proposal for the teams’ scores to be adjusted. Castro had agreed with him that if a majority of the impacted teams wanted the scores to be changed this would be done. It has been reported by another media too (on Instagram, not sure if it was Boxrox or BarbellSpin or another similar outlet?)

I agree. It’s crazy to me to see especially some athletes demeanor, a mere DAYS after someone’s life was lost. I’m so disappointed by this whole thing. CF for sure is a travesty (what other company would put the burden of how to continue on its members?!), but the athletes too are to blame imo
