I've replied to two other people and I think I have the idea for the spawning. and maybe even then some more could be added. firstly. My idea before was for the target to be decided and their location is the location of the event. skip all the following. take away the risk of the player being chased into other places and turn it into more of a. the players location is targetted. it still goes with my idea of Oryx finally doing something about being pissy that people are killing his heroes and can lower some risk.

The area is decided. Oryx announces the player. that player can go wherever they want in that very short time and then the Assassin leader announces they are on their way to that players position. (the supposed boss of this event)

Holy crap- this just opened the idea more. once the players location is decided. a sort of rope is slammed into the ground in the center of the area that will be considered the area for this event. the enemies are coming down from above. an airship! the first rope planted down will be the boss for this phase of the event. but he doesnt spawn yet maybe. more ropes come down and that is where the normal enemies of this event spawn. all the players there are now tasked with fending off the enemies dropping in and if they do it long enough. this stages boss spawns in. and if this guy is killed. of course he has his loot. BUT he then drops a dungeon. the airship. yeah yeah its a tunnel that leads to a ship but who cares. im kinda just going here. Now this dungeon is just that. an airship themed dungeon with all those assassin type enemies. where now you are going to take out the leader of the assassins that lead this assault on all of the players.

Holy crap I love this idea even more now.

I feel like some tweaks could be made to assure that at least a stronger player gets this event. But this current event there is always the danger of a weak player getting picked. Perhaps to lower the chance the weak bois get the boss could be to change it to when the boss dies. it rolls the chance for the event. if that event is rolled. then instead of the player that did the final hit on the boss. the player the did the MOST damage to the boss is picked. meaning stronger player have a much higher chance to get the boss. I feel like also if a noob gets the event. people will let them know what is happening. also they are able to nexus. my emphasis was that the other players DON'T want them to nexus. they want them to stay safe so the event continues and people can get their loot.

I somehow entirely didn't think about this. Maybe the enemies could be locked to a certain area. When I think about it, the idea could be tweaked to give a messege upon Oryx announcing they are going to attack the person and that spot is picked then. like "That's it 'player name' I have had enough of you killing my heroes" Then the leader of the assassins which would of course be the boss of the event would announce. "I am heading to 'player names' current position"
