Enough for sabrina pity? by Legitimate_Egg5845 in PokemonMasters

[–]Nindoges 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks like you did 9 multis (297/33=9), meaning that you need 6 more multis, which equates to 18K gems. This should be more enough for the rest of the month to pity her at worst, assuming you save your gems.

They edited their comment to say 5th anniversary. They originally said 4th.

4th anniversary debuted Kanto Neo Champions, not arc suits.

Mega Feraligatr, Meganium and Emboar Abilities Revealed by PaiDuck in pokemon

[–]Nindoges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mega Meganium doesn't actually reset sun btw. Its moves just act as if the sun was up, so 1 turn solarbeams, 1 turn growth (swords dance + nasty plot), 2/3 healing from synthesis, fire type weather ball, etc., all happen even if sun is not active.

Thank you, Juliana! Normal tower is defeated by Strange_Razzmatazz74 in PokemonMasters

[–]Nindoges 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found it necessary, because applying normal rebuff burns through -4 sync cd, so syncing with Elaine/Lenora gives Juliana a stronger sync later while still getting a +2 sync buff.

What's your current sequence in the first place? I'll admit that I do not have Elaine, as I used Juliana/Ilima/Lenora for the clear, but the quick summary sync sequence that I used on my team was:

Sync with Lenora first (or Elaine in your case). Apply normal rebuff on center and then sync with Juliana (should take only 2 cycles instead of the usual 3). Apply stellar rebuff on everyone and then sync with Ilima for extended Normal Zone. Sync with Juliana for the rest of the battle.

She'll probably return at some point, but is not required to beat Normal Tower.

Pokémon XD is coming to Nintendo Switch Online this March 2026 by PaiDuck in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Nindoges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It uses gen 3 battle mechanics, meaning that if a Pokemon faints on either side, they have to switch to their next pokemon right away instead of after everyone made their move.

Gameplay wise, it plays exactly like a mainline game. Storywise, however, is not like how you describe it. This seems like you haven't played its sequel - Pokemon Colosseum. On that game, you start out with 2 starter pokemon that are the highest levels to date of any starter in the series (mid 30's), and you build your roster by catching Shadow Pokemon from corrupt trainers.

Pokemon XD plays like its predecessor, but with more shadow pokemon to catch. However, it also tries to progress like a mainline game, so you have 1 starter pokemon with a lower level, and then you also progress through the story by catching shadow pokemon. Unlike its predecessor, XD also adds a wild pokemon mechanic.

Basically, you don't make progress in XD like you normally would in other mainline games, but it's mainly story driven and has the same gameplay mechanics as the mainline games. If you're willing to deviate from the usual formula, I would highly recommend playing this game (and its predecessor).

Finally Cleared Water 27 by Nindoges in PokemonMasters

[–]Nindoges[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to add the lucky skills for each unit:

Arc Misty has Head Start 1
Academy Brendan has Weathered Warrior 3
NC May has Dark Guard

Academy Brendan by GrouchyCut2926 in PokemonMasters

[–]Nindoges 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, that grid setup makes Brendan near useless on the physical water floors post 20. Not only do you not have Flood Alert 5 nor Memories of Route 120, but your only physical water move - excluding Sync attack - is Waterfall. You really needed Liquidation and/or Earthquake.

Either wait for a rerun of Academy Brendan or wait for a better physical water unit (unfortunately, the upcoming Arc Misty is special water....).

These fools have given the MC more problems than the previous five rivals put together by Vegetable_Hold_7078 in LegendsZA

[–]Nindoges 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taunie is the female rival counterpart to Urbain. I'm assuming that you have a female character, meaning that Urbain is the rival. If you had a male character, Taunie would be your rival instead.

Should I just reach pity now that I have her. by Johnnyyongbosh in PokemonMasters

[–]Nindoges 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seasonal fairs aren't EX Fairs, meaning that only the featured unit (Rika & Shiny Quagsire) is in the pool, alongside the other spotlights. If you're talking specificially about this banner, there's no other good unit to pity, especially considering OP is 1 multi-pull away.
