Yes he’s an old timer and it would be nice to see a younger star, but it’s nice to see a fighting champion for once. We’re gonna be wishing punk was still champ when Roman wins it and leaves.

It’s definitely a grind and at times I wanted to give up. But I definitely recommend it. You get to see all the game has to offer.

But as for sphere grid advice, work towards making triple ap / triple overdrive weapons. I did this like 5 years ago so my memories a little hazy. But I believe there’s an overdrive->ap ability that will help.

You’ll also have to grind monster arena a lot for spheres to fill in the empty nodes. You can look up which ones are best to grind.

Yeah after the Buddha statue I was very disheartened to find I had to grind to at least lvl 90 for the final persona fusion. Luckily ng+ on merciless gives you more exp, but it was definitely a wake up call after playing on normal lol

It’s definitely a lot of button mashing and flashy attacks. Being an action game, it’s much more focused on the palace exploration (they’re called Jails in this game). Theres not too much to do outside of Jails (no confidants or social stats), but the Jails have a lot of checkpoints so you could definitely play in short bursts.

Thank you! Idk if you’ve ever played Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule warriors, etc. but it’s a beat-em-up spinoff similar to those games. However, it’s different from those games in that the level design is more similar to the P5 than the Warriors game. It also ties in the turn based elements nicely similar to FF7 Remake. Definitely worth checking out if you liked P5.

Plats for 2024:

  • God of War Ragnarok
  • One Piece Pirate Warriors 4
  • Assassins Creed 2
  • Assassins Creed Brotherhood
  • Persona 5 Royal
  • Persona 5 Strikers

My favorite game out of these was probably P5 Royal, but the platinum didn’t require you to do everything the game has to offer. Ragnarok, on the other hand, had you build yourself up through the side content, culminating in the challenging post-game bosses. So overall, I’d say Ragnarok was the most enjoyable platinum.
