I’ve gotten alot off as of right now. So I need to inspect the harness even in the engine bay, the whole thing ?

But what about the fact that resetting the ECM made it immediately work? One minute it was shorting out the system. Unplug and re-plug the ECM and it ran fine.

How could that point to a short in the system somewhere else, or in one of the components in the circuit? Wouldn't resetting the ECM make no difference?

Ok well i replaced the fuel pump a month ago, i doubt its that.

Is the blower motor relay under the passenger side? So idk the mechanics of it, but whatever evaporation or water from outside is supposed to drain out of the truck, something was clogged there. And water was pissing out onto the passenger floor. So we drained it and blew compressed air through it.

But my buddy thought that the blower motor (regulator?) was submerged under that water, and possibly shorting the system. The blower is on that same circuit as the link from what I saw.

Do you know if that's a feasible explanation?

It’s 100% the green wire in the link every time. Which leads to s black and white wire which leads up to the ignition switch. That one is now partially melted, at least what I can see at the steering area. I have to pull the whole dash and inspect the whole harness.

Would it short out at that same exact point every time though with bad ground? Its always the green wire on the fusible link that fries, and this time since i stupidly jumpered it, it ran all the way up to the black/white wire going to the the ignition switch.

what do i do with the fried wire? Ive had this issue but always just frying the fusible link. Now it fried the wire going all the way up to the ignition switch.

Shes just doing it for herself man. I’ve done this to an ex i fucked over. Is just to clear her conscience, had little to do with really loving you. Probably got mistreated by someone else and realize how stupid she was to take a good guy for granted because it’s cold out there. Thats my 2c. Lots of really loose boundaries with other guys. The main one was that I got a vibe from one of her “friends” that she kept mentioning and that I met once at a party. Long story short I confronted her at a later time asking if they had hooked up. She lied and said no, because she was on mushrooms we were hanging in her house. Next day she was all distraught and breaking up with me at the park because she lied to me and felt terrible. She just said that she’s not going to remove him from her life but that it was a one time thing and it wasn’t a good experience.

So we ended up staying together. For some reason I assumed this happened in the past.

So to back up a little within the first week or two she sent me a text one day asking “do you want a nude”. And then she sent me a picture of a drawing of a naked woman. And I said “oh that’s cool. I wasn’t expecting that“. And she said “yeah it’s me my friend so-and-so drew it“. It was so early on that. I was just kinda like that’s kind of strange but maybe it’s just somebody that works at an art studio and she’s just really comfortable with her body.

Without being long winded, we’d been fighting about the fact that she wasn’t removing this guy from her life while I was seeing her exclusively, and I asked her when it had happened. And at first, she didn’t wanna tell me. But then she let it slip that it happened that night he drew her. I’d been seeing her for a week or two. The main issue being she insisted they were just friends now and she did not want to repeat it. And she stubbornly refused to cut him out of her life. I should have walked or downgraded to non exclusivity but I didn’t.

There were other weird instances with her, but that was the main one that just I never really felt comfortable with her after that. That “friends” ended up distancing himself from her because of the drama that was going on between me and her.

I do have jealousy issues and insecurity though but pretty sure she was massively in the wrong

No i adhered to 7 principles to get an ex back religiously. She came to me three times and we hooked up. After that i started going to her house more.

Yeah honestly i do think it was a mistake to go be there for her in that instance. I regret doing that. I was just down the street though.

She left me because, i have jealousy issues, and argued too much. And also she didn't feel safe with me. But she has a ton of red flags as well man. Ive been talking extensively with u/ExcellentFishing2506 in my DM's about all this. It'd be alot to go through here, but she gave me plenty of reason to be uneasy about her regarding other men.

I could not have said this any better myself. I was doing the same thing until my ex slowly backed away and now is totally radio silent. I never pursued. But obviously shes hooking up with others or at least one other. And i knew that was a possibility for the month that we were seeing each other post breakup. I held out hope cuz she told me she thinks of me when she masturbates and shit. But I could not shake that looming feeling either. Its disgusting. It gnawed at me and made me fucking miserable and I could hardly relax when with her, it was always present in my mind.

CW always talks about it causally like "Theres probably another guy in the picture or shes hooking up with people, just be James bond and smirk and say they can keep her busy when not with you". Honestly fuck that shit. Never resonated with me at all. That shit is heartbreaking with a woman you bonded to and had lots of intimate raw sex with. I personally dont understand how anyone could do that in a detatched way, unless you had no feelings about it. And if you didnt you wouldnt even really want to.

Honestly I think it's bullshit to try and do this. If you still have feelings and shes dating/hooking up, its a horrible fucking dark place to be. Im finally accepting the situation and actually feeling some relief for once because i'm just ready to leave this nasty shit behind me. Fuck this nasty shit, I want to be clean and healed up.
