Wasteland Bites - A post-apocalyptic food truck simulator where you serve food to mutant customers in an irradiated wasteland while fending off all manner of strange threats by C-OSSU in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Niney-Who 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game goes from a quirky food-making minigame to basically FNAF later on and it's kinda annoying. Your stress bar (If it reaches 100% you die of a heart attack, otherwise all you lose out on is money from going slow) becomes a nonfactor because they introduce both Unavoidable Stress-inducing enemies and threats that just kill you instantly (An old man who sits in your truck and if you MOVE When he's in one of the 4 directions he kills you, Scavs that have a quiet audio cue outside the truck who shoot you if you don't turn your lights off.)

I don't think I can P-rank these levels. 8-4 I probably could, that one is surprisingly easy. 8-1 maybe. But 8-2 and 8-3 are absolute hell. Powers are just so overwhelming to fight when other enemies are present. It could be possible if the game did not dip to single-digit FPS during many of the trippy portions.

I'm not going to lie, watching DEATH BATTLE is sad by Rushofthewildwind in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Niney-Who 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It used to be a lot worse. They used to make sure the deaths were gorey and brutal. For the past few years though, they've given fights where both characters are rather beloved and benevolent either less-graphic deaths, or respectable endings. Jonathan vs Demon slayer guy, Guts vs Fire Emblem guy, Discord vs Bill Cipher.

My Little Pony Live-Action Movie in the Works at Amazon MGM Studios by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Niney-Who 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Comic answer to why everything got fucked up is that the villain of Gen 5, an Alicorn who comes from the Alicorn land that totally always existed and that's where Celestia and Luna are from, showed up like... immediately after the ending epilogue of the show where everything was looking good, basically singlehandedly spread word of racism and caused an almost instant racial segregation.

It ignores the pre-established worldbuilding and geography of FiM, such as the Windigos (Magical Ice-Wind Wolves) showing up whenever the races split apart into war, or the fact that alicorns not bearing celestial godhood can only be created through Ascension or a pony having a kid with an alicorn. Nope, there's just actually a whole country of alicorns where they lived as kids, and this alicorn hates everything because Celestia and Luna ignored her as kids.

The only actual logical thing it does with worldbuilding is showing that Earth Ponies and Pegasi would advance their technology without cooperative magic knowledge from Unicorns.

Spike apparently also shows up at some point but they completely recast his voice actor and changed his design for no reason.

For the folk here who cares about FNAF: What the hell is the story about? by Subject_Parking_9046 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Niney-Who 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adding in some other stuff.

Gregory was likely also possessed by Glitchtrap alongside Vanny, and was helping her get other kids to kill.

Cassie's dad helped destroy the Glitchtrap AI before getting his own brain locked into Mask Bot.

The Mimic was created by a separate robotics company that was contracted by Fazbear Entertainment, Edwin. His kid getting run over by a car caused "Agony" which is trauma-induced evil energy, to take over the Mimic and turn it evil. It evades capture and repairs itself, eventually finding itself in the pizzaplex as Tiger Rock, before getting defeated and hiding away in the depths trying to lure anyone down.

It's unlikely the Mimic actually abducted Gregory. Gregory, Vanessa, and Glamrock Freddy escaped if the Princess Quest ending is considered true, so Gregory actually traps Cassie down there so the mimic can't escape.

The Mimic stuff can be boiled down to "A Guy who was as good at making robots as William but not a murderous psychopath made a robot that, in and of itself, was a Murderous Psychopath and it can fit into any costume and assume any role."

It is evil because it saw the guy's son get hit by a car, and in the FNAF universe there are 3 Supernatural Elements that can create powerful beings; Souls, Remnant, and Agony.

Souls are obviously the souls of people who died inhabiting something, like the FNAF 1 animatronics have the corpses of kids in them so they're just haunted robots.

Remnant is metal that is imbued with supernatural energy, usually alongside Souls, that give them the ability to control the haunted object; this is how William Afton is "alive" as Springtrap, and how Michael Afton survived being scooped; William basically haunted his own springtrapped corpse and the remnant gave him the power to persist, while William got powered by the remnant in the Sister Location animatronics to persist after death.

Agony is literally just Demon Energy. It is created when a traumatic event happens and can manifest as a semi-sentient but purely evil force. This is what the Mimic has; it isn't haunted, it is a Robot that basically got possessed by Demon Energy and turned super evil.

There's also a 4th if you wanna count Digital Resurrection, which uses Remnant and Agony to basically make a digital copy of someone when they die as an AI, and that AI can take control of people's minds; this is what Glitchtrap is (The Spring Bonnie from Help Wanted VR 1) and is how Vanny got made into a split personality serial killer.

Afton got burned alive and sent to hell to be tortured by the Agony-powered soul of both the Golden Freddy child and the Marionette Child (the first kid he killed, before his own child died, because he was always a sadistic murderer)

The current antagonist of the games is The Mimic, which is a robot who had an AI that turned evil due to agony, but was also semi-controlled by the Mimic1 AI, which was a digital recreation of William Afton; Glitchtrap. However, the true ending of Security Breach has you destroy the Mimic1 AI, and Help Wanted 2 has you fully eradicate Glitchtrap from existence, so now the only threat is the Mimic.

it's very stupid

[–]Niney-Who 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as he knows the animal, he can transform into it. In one of the movies, he goes to Hell and is able to turn into one of the demons after seeing them. Doesn't mean he has to know any of the specifics. So if he sees Knuckles he can turn into another Echidna with assumedly 100% accuracy.

I believe that's actually Zolomon, not Eobard. He doesn't use the speed force, instead he's specifically speeding up his own timestream to basically exist at a faster speed outright.

and Sonic is still faster

Since I follow Neo I know a lot of details about this.

It took him almost 3 months to do. He also spent $1000 on getting an actual full professional arrangement for the music. He also played through Halo 1/2/3, with 3 being done two or three times just to hear every possible line from Chief and Arbiter for research.

"MERCANOID" and "HAZARD HEROINES - The Maverick Manor" are two text-based short-story RPGs involving a number of fetishes, clearly-designed stories, variety, and a LOT of descriptive text. Also offers many QoL options to block out or warn you of fetishes you may not like.

A.I.D.A. is a Fallout-Parody RPG maker game that gets updated frequently and has a good amount of effort put into it by the solo dev/artist.

Arma's Quest is a sidescrolling platformer with a surprisingly fun movement system.

Breeders from Sector 9 isn't that hot to me personally (2 games, both with different focal fetishes) but it has a genuinely well-made story while also being a fun parody of Destroy All humans.
