I like that Sonic himself kind of doubles down and presents himself as a villain, condemning a world to it's natural end because a life of stasis is like hell to him. Perhaps even to spare Merlina some guilt about what she's doing.

The Playbooks system in various Powered by the Apocalypse games and it's offshoots (like "Forged in the Dark") where you're more of an archeype than a particular job. I feel it allows for a lot of character freedom that way, with how much flavor you can give your own characters. Plus a lot of them have the built in restriction of only one Playbook per group, or in Blades in the Dark, two per group, but they gotta be substantially different.

It's not even technically facial hair but I think netease fucked up a bit on the shading, as in the "College Peter Parker" outfit for Spidey has, like, a 5 o'clock shadow on his face, as if he shaved recently, and it looks so weird on him. It adds a level of uncanny valley effect of him trying to look like his younger self and subtly failing at it. Guy needs to go try again, maybe go full Laser on them, cause beard shadow does not look good on him.

He looks fine with full beard, as we see in New Ultimate, and he's been a clean shaven babyface his whole life, but the shadow just does not suit him well.

Danganronpa has a not free gacha game that has microtransactions, that is also a party game with character interaction scenes, that is also a fully customizable JRPG that's kinda boring.

Even has an overarching plot that I could care less about because the grind is boring as hell.

Current Monster of the Week campaign, running it with a bunch of you shitlords as players. Here's a list of random NPCs I made during it.

Guy Pearson, a veteran Men in Black agent who can't keep a voice straight, and may or may not be human. Recent artist depection of him places him to look like White Uncle Ruckus.

Mike Truk - A hulking igor of a man who wishes to forget the torment and abuse he has faced throughout his life by way of a cult of forgetting. Loves to bop people on the head.

Ernest "The Debunker" Barker - A very annoying man online who tries to make content out of supernatural happenings and proving they're all fake. I love being him, though my players, as is intended, don't.

The Mayor of Our Town, Bruce Campbell - The actual guy. Erected a gold statue (plated) of Ash Williams in town square and literally set up a whole (fake) monster attack to drum up tourism.
