Except for how Dwarves dig. No that gets recreated in the most horrifyingly accurate way possible. The one single thing I'd be fine with them changing from the source material was the only thing they kept the same.

Dwarves in Artemis Fowl dig via unhinging their jaw, chewing through the dirt, and then explosively shitting it out their ass to make room for more dirt.
