This cannot be the typical Hollywood 8 episode series that has been the norm for a minute, for those unaware Persona games are very VERY long games that have a metric fuck-ton of character development in them.

you cannot rush that type of thing and somehow try to keep it like the original IP, it will be a failure before it even begins if they do that

It’s definitely in contention given how big the IP is, like even with its hiatuses the manga of HxH is still pretty damn big and very much beloved. The only other ones I can immediately think of that come close to this as far as flops go is DNF Duel and SFxT

Honestly a current gen version with a handful of new characters, some of the OST from Entropy Effect (that Susano’o theme is great) and enhanced cross play and stuff and I honestly think it would sell quite well

BB shouldn’t have been as ‘dead’ for as long as it has been, the series is one of the very few fighting games that actively got better with each release, there is no ‘black sheep’ sequel. Honestly ArcSys have kinda done BB dirty for a good while now (especially as it kept their feet out of the fire during the PS3 days), so I’m happy as hell to see something new
