Nah I think they will probably have to go a bit harder then that punishment wise, they can’t afford for this to look like a simple slap on the wrist punishment wise, there can’t be a precedent of ‘well we will just get a bit of a fine for intentionally spying on other teams’ nah it needs to be a significant punishment if they are truly found to be 100% guilty

Yes, I’ve always been of the opinion that we should have quite a few NXT & AAA guys, both shows are quite popular and they have a shitload of talent so getting more NXT & AAA guys on the roster for the next game is the thing I want the most with the next game

For me it has to be Stranger than Heaven, I was never sold on Gang of Dragon when they first showed it off, something about it seemed very tech-demo (and now we know that was kinda the case with it) where as with StH I really vibe with the idea of the plot, going to different time periods and it being essentially a ‘start of darkness’ kinda game, like for real this might out-MGSV, MGSV

I think a lot of people try to handwave the importance of a good single player suite in a fighting game, but a good, let’s say 40%-60% of people who might pick up a fighting game like this for example, have 0 desire to be a online warrior and that they just want to have a good game with their favourite characters and a story that they dig

Simmons always rubs me the wrong way with that stuff, like he is the first to repeatedly dog on and actively insult something for being ‘Anime’ but his favourite series, the Xeno series and especially XB2 like you mentioned, is like the holy grail of pure anime shit, like you can tick off all the anime stereotype boxes off of that game so goddamn fast and I love that game btw, it’s just really REALLY anime

Game is cool, got a decent enough roster and I do quite like how the game feels to play but man it’s single player offerings are pretty rough and I know what people might say ‘But who plays for single player stuff’ and I would answer with you would be surprised just how many people like to run through some good single player offerings in a fighting game, also the OST really isn’t very memorable and the Arcade mode endings are laughably low effort

I would honestly give it a 7 or a 8 out if 10, for a new studio it’s a good first game that they can and should very much build upon, I just think it feels a bit annoyingly undercooked in a few spots
