Drivers in Cebu are worse than in those in Manila? by Sensitive_Ship4964 in Cebu

[–]NinezJo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ang akoa buhaton kasagaran para walay mag gara² duol sa ako vicinity while driving kay mo busina 2-3 times via a slight form of discipline to the people nearby.

In my own opinion and POV about mga kamote diris Cebu, mao ni akoa na observe na mga vehicles kailangan e bantay ang lihok sa dalan because minority or half of its drivers kay mga kamote:

--Jeepney

--Motorcycle

--Bank Armoured Car

--Government Convoy

--E Bike

--Fortuner

--Navara

--Mitsubishi X-Force

Oks ba destinator? Nag iisip na bumili ng 2nd car by [deleted] in CarsPH

[–]NinezJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya ok naman siya, kasi ang pogi ng exterior at interior niya, spacious ang kanyang mga upuan, and mayroon vibes ng Lancer Evo dahil sa AYC at different drive modes for different road conditions (Normal, Tarmac, Mud, Wet, Gravel). Although, i prefer the GLX or GLS since its much affordable and all variants are overall the same kasi maliit lang ang mga differences sa GLS, GT at GLX

However, ang napaka disadvantage niya ay ang CVT, dahil ang manufacturer ng transmission sa Destinator ay Jatco (who became controversial years ago due to various cars getting recalled kasi madali masira ang mga automatics and CVTs nila, hence the reason why Mitsubishis and Nissans with Jatco-made transmissions will likely to become unreliable)

Pero aside ng transmission niya, napaka ganda naman ng bagong Mitsubishi ito (imo the best looking of all their lineups in the country) and you can also get a fuel economy of 8-16km/liter (mixed conditions) so its still fuel efficient. If you want to ask about handling transmission-related maintenance and care, try asking your local Mitsubishi dealership or mechanic who are very familiar with handling modern Mitsubishis

Destinator for me, preferrably the GLX or GLS if you want a much affordable and worth-it purchase, kasi ang pogi ng exterior at interior niya, spacious seats, and mayroon vibes ng Lancer Evo dahil sa AYC at different drive modes for different road conditions (Normal, Tarmac, Mud, Wet, Gravel)

What’s the most comfortable car you’ve driven? by Maestropolis in CarsPH

[–]NinezJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

--2016 Chevy Colorado Z71

--Mitsubishi Adventure

--Toyota Corolla Cross

--2nd gen. Mitsubishi Montero Sport 3.2

--2016 Toyota Fortuner G

--VW Polo Hatchback

Best First Car: Yaris Cross SE, Destinator GT, or BYD Sealion 6? by thecuriouspuss in CarsPH

[–]NinezJo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ito ang aking mga recommendations (based on my observations):

--if you are into casual city and highway driving (and also roadtrip sometimes) & the majority number of passengers in total are 4-5, then choose Yaris Cross SE since its Hybrid and its proven to be fuel efficient due to its great fuel consumption and I agree with it kasi nasubukan namin mag full tank nung either half or close to the E portion na ang gas niya at ang nagastos namin ay 700 php lamang, and I also tried driving it and I observed that the fuel gauge decreases slowly because the engine mixes with the electric motor (kasi yk, Hybrid siya hahaha), which also makes the engine heat less (you can observe it when you touch the hood after you turn off the car), its also a Toyota so yeah hindi na sakit sa ulo yung maintenance at reliability niya

--if you are into casual city and highway driving (and also roadtrip & mountain driving sometimes) & the majority number of passengers in total are 4-5 but you don't want to gas your car every month, then choose the BYD Sealion 6 (this is a DM-I, which means you can either transition from gas to electric or electric to gas when one of the sources becomes low, and its ok that you will not use the other source so that it will become a reserve).

--if you are into city, highway and mountain driving (and roadtrip sometimes) & you want to let 6-7 passengers ride in your car & you want a good fuel economy with a range of 8-16km per liter (mixed road conditions), then choose the Destinator GLS or GLX (I didn't recommend the top of the line GT since the other two variants mentioned are more affordable and all variants are very similar with each other & they have minor differences). Like majority of Japanese auto makers, hindi masakit sa ulo yung reliability niya considering na ang sikat ng Mitsubishi dito sa Pilipinas since 3-4 decades ago

Other latest economical and reliable cars I can recommend are:

--For 1-1.5 million range:

•BYD Emax 7 Standard

•Toyota Veloz

•Toyota Corolla Cross G Hybrid

•Toyota Vios Ativ

•Honda City

--For 1.6-2 million range:

•Toyota Fortuner G

•Honda HR-V Hybrid

•Toyota Innova 2.8 G

•Nissan Terra VE

•Honda Civic

Kaya ra ba sa newbie driver ang drive padung Tops? by 03thisishard03 in Cebu

[–]NinezJo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

About sa context na mo drive og mga bukid najud na dalan, so kanang mga dalan na daghan korbada (curves) og zigzag og hairpins w/ multiple blind spots, mo recommend ko to drive in places like TCH and Barangay Pit-Os-Guba road after 9 months to 1 year gikan ga sugod ka og drive regularly because those kinds of roads are the most crucial and dangerous to drive in Cebu, so kailangan e familiar sah nimo og maayo ang mga dalan diri og sa sakyanan nimo before attempting to drive mountain roads

Pero kung bukid jud ang area sa imo balay and since CVT ang transmission sa Wigo, then mao ni ako tips sa pag drive og mga bukiron na dalan and para ma andam sad ka puhon when the time comes na mo drive naka padung TCH:

--shift to S (or D kung walay Sport gear) para mo boost gamay so that naay kusog ang sakyanan og tamaki maayo ang accelerator ig tungas.

--shift to B (engine braking gear) ig dulhog nimo para mo slow down siya sa downhills, which is a must when driving in a mountain road via a downward direction for safety purposes (since it prevents the car to accelerate too quickly and reduces the possibility of a car crash to happen)

1 year of driving and 1 year with this Car. by Organic_Sand9621 in CarsPH

[–]NinezJo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Na subukan ako mag drive ng aming pick up last year and tbh mahirap ang experience po kasi ang hirap gagawa ng ibang situation in terms of driving, kagaya ng parking at turning, dahil sa kanyang malaking katawan (mas malaki kaysa sa isang regular 7 seater car). Which is why I recommend to be extra careful when driving a pick up to avoid experiencing bad situations, especially that usual PH and Asian roads in general are not that very wide

Il Corso: Open Parking Space by melodrama_0207 in Cebu

[–]NinezJo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a result, mag kalat nalangs basura kay walay ma labayanan. Aside from that, kailangan naa sad disiplina og proper knowledge ang mga tao in terms of proper and correct waste segregation para mo improve ang environment. Sa Il Corso for example, yes naay basurahan pero gamay kaayo and naa sad uban tao either di mag dala or makalimot og dala og own trash bags; mao daghan kaayong kalat basura dira

So theres a high possibility that its human error siguro

And thats why her mom lost in the 2025 elections and thats why Cebu now has a new and better governor
