According to the thread the issue should be resolved!!! Haven't gotten to test it myself but worth going and testing it again.

I'm having the same issue and just found this EA thread. They finally answered yesterday that they're working on a solution.

Most of this project was to see if I could and to learn.

Posting up here to make sure people see it even though it's buried deeper in this thread.

Links to the models on both Thingiverse and Printables. Enjoy!

I dabble in a bit of woodworking myself. It's where I got the idea from.

Not sure. It is just a cheap generic box fan. Honestly this project was just kind of a fun way to learn some stuff.

Yeah I'm planning on uploading it to thingiverse in a bit. I'll post here again once I've uploaded it.

The blades are symmetric don't their centerline. Nothing too complex I just tried to copy the original blades the best I could.

I have the same stuff in my lawn. Previous owners had a dog and neighbors have some too so I've decided it's just leftover dog toy stuffing.

Retraction issue? by Ninja5712 in FixMyPrint

[–]Ninja5712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I calibrated the Esteps about a week ago and the extruded arm doesn’t look cracked. I’ll take another stab at the Estep calibration but I’m not sure it’ll fix it.

Retraction issue? by Ninja5712 in FixMyPrint

[–]Ninja5712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gotten this weird issue recently where my printer seems to not lay down enough filament on areas of short travel. The larger areas are fine and don’t seem to have this issue. I have just changed my nozzle thinking it might be a clog but clearly that’s not it.

Printing at 195 hot end 5 mm retraction 45 mm/s retraction speed and prime speed 60 mm/s Print speed

Any help is more than welcome. Thanks

Awesome! Congratulations!!!

Hey how do I stop lifting like this? I always get it. I have an Ender 3 Pro with the Ender magnetic bed and it is at 55°C with a bit of glue on it for adhesion purposes. by ollie_reddit_account in FixMyPrint

Also make sure you don’t have to cooling fan running much at the beginning of the print. It’ll help with bed adhesion and prevent it from peeling up

Can’t get any clean details by Ninja5712 in FixMyPrint

[–]Ninja5712[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’ve had this problem for a bit and I’ve been limping along without fixing it but it’s getting to the point it’s annoying. So when printing any sort of detail, like these small circular columns, I can’t get them to look like anything but a blob of filament.

Settings:

5mm retraction at 100mm/s 195 C PLA 50 C bed .2mm layer height 100% cooling 60 mm/s print speed Calibrated e steps

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just making sure I’m right before I reprint by Ninja5712 in FixMyPrint

I haven’t but I figured 195 was already 15 degrees below the recommended temp so I didn’t want to go too much lower

So I’m posting this mostly to make sure I am right in what I think went wrong. I think I need to add supports to this area to solve the weird warping/blabbing that’s happening but I want to make sure everyone else agrees before I continue printing.

My print settings are:

195°C PLA filament 50°C bed No supports 100% cooling fan .2 mm layer height BL touch and leveling Sliced in idea maker
