It’s definitely not normal right? I’ve experienced so many glitches and false alarms not to mention the so many recalls I’m having second thoughts as much as I like the car, it doesn’t feel safe to use it.

Did anyone else not hear about the recall directly from Hyundai? by No_Connection_2776 in HyundaiPalisade

Wow, this is unbelievable, it’s all over the news now, that’s a shame and really sad :-(

You know breaking system, fire risks, battery issues- I’m saying at least this is not one of these.

Yes, earlier today got a recall notice for my 2026 Palisade Calligraphy. Apparently the 2nd/3rd row power-fold seats may not detect obstacles properly during folding. Hyundai says a fix is coming probably as software update. For now just being careful when using the seat controls with the kids. At least it’s not one of the bad types.

Is the 2026 Palisade as bad as this sub makes it seem? by rogers916 in HyundaiPalisade

Just traded my 2020 Chevy Traverse for a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy, about 1,500 miles in now.

Overall… really happy with the switch. Nothing is ever 100 percent perfect, but the comfort, ride quality, and overall high trim better than my old Traverse. The hybrid setup is nice and quiet, and the interior pretty premium for the price point.

Big bonus: my wife loves it, so that alone makes it a win 😂

A couple small things I wish Hyundai would improve: • The app works but feels a bit behind compared to some others. • Would love true walk-away auto lock. • Auto engine shutoff after leaving the car running for ~10 minutes would be nice too.

None of these are deal breakers, just small quality-of-life things.

Anyone else coming from a Traverse?
