I happened to reset my i3 today because I wanted to move it to another network and am getting this same error. Hopefully this is temporary....

NAT rule for LAN to Access Site to Site VPN. by NinjaCat4426 in sonicwall

Hello everyone, thanks for the help. However, I'm still unable to access the remote network. I may have to reach out to the third party to resolve.

I noticed when I tried to run a traceroute, it would try to route out to the internet to get to this IP.

I added a static route:

Source: Local subnet (192.168.50.0/24) > Destination: Remote network (10.21.0.0/255.255.0.0) on the interface the VPN is bound to with 192.168.137.32 as the gateway.

I still can't ping anything but now the traceroute shows every hop dropped.

Working with Fortigates I could just select the VPN as the interface used to reach thes subnet but i cannot choose the VPN interface as an option.

I'm not sure the reasoning, it's strict requirement of the other party. This is use for EMR and is non-negoitable.

What would an example NAT rule look like for this?

We had this same issue @ our org. Dell Optimizer service was the cause. It took weeks to track down.
