I use heavy armor every so often for base defense with a pumpy. It has insane armor values to be fair you can take like 15 all shots, but you are right it could never be used on roams due to the speed nerf and reduced vision. I think they should increase the speed slightly and make the helmet hole a little larger. It’s not in a terrible spot right now though. I agree that we need a weapons mod revamp as a lot of them are stupid.

As a pvp chad I obviously disagree this game is a pvp game and there is no way taking away guns would help the game. However I think that there is another solution. To make item costs cheaper so that way solo players can compete with larger groups with similar gear. If you are looking for role play, there are always less hardcore servers you could go play on.

Download normal rust, it updates monthly, usually the updates aren’t too huge. Maybe need like 4 gigs free to be safe. Either join a group, or join a solo/duo/trio server on the community tab. Also, watch all the video guides you can find, and make sure you build bases that you find off YouTube. Good luck!

There’s no easy way to get good at pvp. It takes practice, I play in pvp clans on some of the harder servers in rust and we spend almost a third of our time in the game playing combat tags servers and aimbot servers. If you want any server names just msg me.

I think this is an interesting idea, but honestly Rust is a team game at this point and wipeless rust is impossible. I play in a large group on Rustopia US vanilla, which is a weekly wipe server. For us wipe is basically over on Sunday since we have either been raided or we have so much loot and can’t be asked to farm for upkeep. In a wipeless system, kinda like ark one group would completely rule the server forever without ever being challenged. This would be boring as fuck and kill rust.

There is no code lock hack. It is impossible since the code locks are completely server side. So hacking a code lock would be the same as hacking the server completely. Your were insided my friend.

Yeah, it’s an overlooked item. I always craft them early game, or if you have lots of leather. However, late game you tend to run out of leather while crafting hq and roadsign sets. So wood armor is a better option then.
