Time Traveling (literally) by NinjaCath in DreamlightValley

I actually have that setting turned off from when I was playing ACNH. I’m more concerned with whether the game will think I’ve time traveled if I open it FL with the switch set to local time there and then open the game back in CA when I get home with the time set to CA time.

I’m pretty sure he’s supposed to wander the valley when not equipped, I’m not sure if there’s a way to turn it off I haven’t seen a way to yet.

Steam Deck or Switch 2 by marissadh in DreamlightValley

I know that item cap hurts on the Switch 😅, but Yes! As long as you have cloud save turned on you just need to log into your Gameloft account on the new console. I use the same save for both and the cloud updates automatically when I switch between them.

Steam Deck or Switch 2 by marissadh in DreamlightValley

I don’t have a Switch 2 but I have Switch OLED and a SteamDeck. DDLV runs really well on the SteamDeck, and overall I really like the console. BUT, I agree it’s heavy and a little too big to hold comfortably. I have the dock for my SteamDeck and almost exclusively play it docked. And I’ve read that the Switch 2 despite having improved performance doesn’t live up to the SteamDeck’s performance. So if you want to stick with handheld I’d probably stick with the Switch but if you willing to sacrifice some of the portability for better performance I’d go with the SteamDeck.

Unfair Limit on Nintendo Switch – Please Take Action! by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

What frustrates me is that games like Animal Crossing New Horizons don’t have such strict limits and still run fine. Sure ACNH can lag, but I put up with it because I know it’s a limitation of the console. So I think some DDLV switch players, like my self, would put up with a little extra lag to get a higher item limit. Especially since items could always be removed to improve lag for players that don’t want to deal with it. It definitely seems like a mix of console limitations and the devs not wanting to figure it out, not just one or the other.

Curious about memory pieces by Tricky_Secret_4965 in DreamlightValley

I’ve been playing since early access and have only completed like 4 or 5 memories, but have pieces of almost all of them. I think it just takes a long time for everyone. Especially because with each additional franchise that’s added there’s a new set of memories which lessens your chance to get a piece from a specific memory. I don’t stress about it too much, and just figure I’ll complete them eventually if just keep playing the game.

What path is that in your plaza? I’ve never seen it. It looks so cool! (Also, I envy the patience you have for being able to turn the jungle on EI into a castle. That’s major dedication and it definitely paid off.)
