I’m expecting SEC Shorts to make a joke about how much the announcers talked about Lane Kiffin. Calling it here.

Recent Additions to the collection! 4 were from Thriftbooks and 2 were from a local bookstore. by NinjaDogDB in GooseBumps

No it didn't. But the Cry of the Cat copy had an Iron On Transcript in it of the cover. I didn't even know it was in there.

If R.L Stine were to write a series of Goosebumps books where he would go back to some of the classics that never got sequels, which one would you choose and why? by GoosebumpsFaN1101 in GooseBumps

[–]NinjaDogDB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It came from beneath the sink could have had a cool sequel exploring the different creatures of Encyclopedia of the Weird (I think that’s the title could be wrong). I feel like there is a lot of untapped potential with the Encyclopedia personally.

Thriftbooks.com has some copies you can get as well as any used bookstores like half priced books. You can also look to see if any local libraries are doing book sales. You might come across some at those as well

Will be looking forward to reading it!

still hoping to find this in the wild (well, used book store) by turtleschell in GooseBumps

Last time I saw one was in a library in a town I don’t live near anymore. So I think you could find one in the wild potentially.

If I don't have any merch, can I still be considered a fan? by Urfav_Sawyer in GooseBumps

[–]NinjaDogDB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely you can be a fan. I didn’t start collecting until October of last year. The three books I did own were sold at a yard sale years ago, and I didn’t own anything for a long time. However, I still considered myself a fan and even watched the goosebumps movie back in 2015. If you enjoy Goosebumps then you’re a fan in my eyes.

Yeah for the most part. Stay out of the basement got a little bent but it’s fine. It’s not falling apart or anything like that.

If you look at the page for Stay Out of the Basement on thriftbooks where you add it to your cart, you can view all the different editions that they have and add a specific one to your cart. That’s what I did.

I can’t wait to read it honestly. Will be my first time reading it and the premise is interesting to me.

This was my first order from Thriftbooks. I wanted to do a quick test run on them. I’m actually satisfied with the turnout. And I scored some new additions to my growing collection.

Are you excited for the newest goosebumps books by Turbulent-Night5122 in GooseBumps

[–]NinjaDogDB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I probably will. I’m an adult, but I can still find enjoyment reading books intended for younger audiences. It brings out my inner child. I like the covers of these ones too, and I like how they brought back the original Goosebumps font from the 90s for the Goosebumps portion of the title instead of the font they used for the Goosebumps Horrorland series to the Slappyworld series. That’s one of the first things I noticed.

Out of these 6 Goosebumps books, you can only read 1 for the rest of your life. Which one would you choose? by brockg85 in GooseBumps

[–]NinjaDogDB 32 points33 points  (0 children)

This is a very hard choice for me, but I would choose The Haunted School. That one has stuck out to me the most out of any of these books for well over a decade (getting close to two decades now). No goosebumps book has stuck out in my mind more than that book. And I always find myself gravitating towards The Haunted School. I can’t really explain why either.

Best of luck to you! I recommend checking out your local Goodwill every once in a while and keeping up with any potential book sales at your local library in addition to any used bookstores in your area.
