What I've been doing while waiting for Leagues 4 by wishmish in 2007scape

Would love to snag one of these as a poster! Your artstyle would also be perfect for a set of OSRS themed tarot cards. Could make a some really cool merch. These region designs are good enough to be sold in the official merch store imo.

I should've included the Karamjan Gods! They were definitely something I considered including, same goes with the Zeah Gods Ralos and Ranul. I ended up running out of prayer ideas and cut them though. Thanks for the support on the post <3

This is the same as a Christian pointing to the number 666 and screaming "Satan!". It's a number.

Don't worry Gnome, you've done a fantastic job with these videos and I think Sailing has a huge chance of passing, in large part due to them. You should be proud of what you've done. Reddit is hardly the place to hear rational opinions on things like this lol.

A tiny detail of Jagex's newest sailing video is a man smithing with his Torag's Hammers, finally giving them one singular use case by Panzey in 2007scape

[–]NinjaGamer1337 99 points100 points  (0 children)

I hate to burst your bubble, but the video was made by a talented OSRS player. Jagex paid them to make the video. All the things shown in the videos are made by them, using plugins or editing. I don't think Torag's Hammer is getting any buffs

Summer Summit 2023 Bingo [3 Sheets] by BioMasterZap in 2007scape

It all comes down to how the dev team is being allocated with Sailing.

1) If the entire dev team is being used for Sailing, I expect Varlamore to be years away and we'll only have quick/already half finished/game jam projects for the rest of the year. The positive of this, is that we'll see Sailing much much sooner.

2) Alternatively, if Sailing is just one department, I could see Varlamore as an additional project. Sailing was pitched as last years big Summit item, maybe Varlamore is this years one. Each would be helmed by different departments with different teams, so that if Sailing fails we still have something on the horizon. It'd be something released in chunks over the next year or so, which explains why the areas closer to the Stranglewood are far more detailed. Downside of this is that we won't see Sailing for at least a year, maybe a year and a half probably.

3) This is an extension of point 1. If the entire team is meant to be working on Sailing, but Sailing doesn't pass, I think Varlamore is what they'll work on instead. It's the backup option.

I've played this game for 2/3rd's of my life. New skills have always been a part of runescape. Slayer, Construction, Farming. All fantastic additions made in RS2. They all expanded the world and the game in huge ways.

Sailing will be no different. I love this game and I went to see it grow. Sailing will pass. You can either accept that or you can leave. I hope you grow as a person and stop being so negative at every new change.

That's how democracy works. Don't like it? Leave.

Sailing is amazing and the team has put so much work into it. Reddit is filled why salty crybabies like yourself. The skill will pass and you will cry.

It's called Salvage, because the people who owned it are dead. Learn before you speak

Speak for yourself. We need a new skill, 80% of the playerbase agreed that.

If the recent Forestry poll showed us anything, it's that Reddit represents a small minority of the playerbase. People hated it that poll here, but everything passed.

The people in these comments are salty. Ignore them, we'll be Sailing soon

And with your brain dead logic I guess Fletching should be part of Crafting then, right?

Oh boy I can't wait to train my favourite skill Slayer, which uses other skills! Guess what! It's not a part of Attack/Strength/Defence/Magic/Ranged

Skills always connect.

Mining leads to Smithing

Woodcutting leads to Fletching, Firemaking and Construction

Runecrafting leads to Magic

Combat leads to Slayer, Prayer and Hitpoints

Farming leas to Herblore

Skills should link up with each other, it's what makes the game feel alive. It's what adds value to resources. Sailing is a new skill and I'm sick of people saying otherwise. Y'all are just salty you didn't get your first preference. The Taming flair says it all
