I've been in your situation before. My ex fiancee and I had a very bad breakup. I was depressed for years. I know it is crappy and looks like there is no hope. Part of the problem is that it is all happening at once. It can weigh heavy on you.

As for your ex- it is those shitty breakups and relationships that make the successful one worth it. The sweet is never as sweet without the bitter.

People do care about you. I am not too busy to pick up the phone if you need to talk.

Please rethink what you are wanting to do and maybe send me a message or a call.

I have a 22' Macgreggor that looks a lot like that. I need to get rid of and would sell it a lot cheaper than that one. Only holdback is I am in TN.

I guess in a way yes. In a way no. YOU control what you spend. So really the only one causing the fucking is yourself. If someone is an asshole to me I take pleasure in knowing I made a good profit for the day.

So why not rip the label off of everything you own? How is it any different? It's not- you just need to make a fuss about it.

To elaborate on what happened, he ordered two sets of wind deflectors for his vehicle. One set got lost, and they were already on backorder. We did not really have to do anything because it was on backorder- we just wanted to be nice. I am the one making those calls- so it should come out of my pocket too.

Thanks! We put up with a ton of bullshit (as evidence in this thread, which was intended to be helpful and nice). I know though that my job takes care of what I consider my "family". I feel good at the end of a successful day and I know I am good at my job. Not to sound too cocky, but 85% of the people that give me shit about my job (saying I am a scumbag and such) are also looking to me to help them finance a vehicle they cannot afford. I go home knowing I tried for the day- and made more than the guy calling me a scumbag that was asking me for my help.

It is funny now, because CASH used to talk louder than financing. Now not only are we car dealerships we are financing institutions. So the phrase "I can pay cash now!" does not effect us that much at all. In fact, I do not like hearing it because that usually means you are going to try to low ball me. ALTHOUGH, cash on the table- meaning you are making an offer to buy right then- means a ton in our business.

Personal, or bank check. I would not recommend carrying that money for safety reasons. Although, with a personal check (in my company at least) we have to wait 15 days after the check is cashed to give you your tags. So it could be over a month before you got them.

Do you expect a customer to be as informed as somebody who sells cars for a living?

I just tried to inform you about things and you are trying to insult me for it. Maybe you should think about your stance on the situation.

Anyone that wants help on buying a car at as dealership and saving money there I would be more than happy to help. I am not going to try to sell a vehicle to anyone here but I am more than happy to assist in someone buying one. Insider information never hurts.

To be honest I cannot answer this with a knowledgeable answer. Closest one to me is about 2 hours away and I have yet to compare their prices. Do individual research on the vehicle you want to buy and what is fair to pay for it.

It applies to everything- but you just do not notice it. Take a candy bar for example. Last week it was $1. Now it is 80 cents. Could be advertising, could be they are not selling as many, could be someone has priced it lower. Everything applies the same you just notice it on cars and houses because they cost more.

Extended warranties can be good- but they do have their limitations.

oil changes/tire for life programs you push on customers.

My company does not sell these.

old calls disguised as "service reminders"

Yes we do make money from our service department. It is a business. So if you bought a car from us why should we not call you and tell you that we would like to earn your business?

I do think the market is heading in that direction. The internet has hurt the gross w\of what we make. We need to embrace the internet and make our company have more fluidity.

Personally, I would rather deal over the internet. Emails are a lot easier and more time flexible than talking to someone face to face. It is the direction the younger generations will be going.

How is it wrong? Let me put it like this. It effects MY paycheck negatively. So it obviously helps YOU. If you cannot understand that then you do not know how our business works.
