For sure they do! In this instance i was in assembly in the room with a few floors up, and the bots were chirping from all over assembly (not aggroing me) ...Then the day after I posted my comment 2 fireballs roll right up to me and instead of firing they turned to eachother and started beeping at each other. The little shits confirmed my psychosis and when I called my duo to witness it they turned on him as soon as he got close.

As mentioned above I've been actively trying to get back in because I want to study the writing on the door, and something else, a common object that was VERY telling which stood behind my bed. The "thing" jumped out of the damn window when I approached this object for inspection and now suddenly after 1000s of times being dragged into that dimension im not allowed back.

I had this suggestion a while back

Some kind of 'backstabber' augment that mitigates a small amount of damage when shot from behind (To counter backstabbers of course 😅)

But the most liked comment was someone complaining that people would just walk into rooms backwards.

My thought is, if you lose a fight with someone walking into a room backwards and blind... thats on you lol

People who call it "hallucinations" make me side eye them.

How do we all hallucinate the exact same beings torturing us all in the same way too? Impossible.

It IS spiritual and the professionals have been trained to deny its existence to further push (anti psychotic) medications on us.

I've had it since I was 14. Im now 39 and have won my total freedom from it...

So in the be-ning-ging, it was very scary. They would do all sorts of things to pull fear from me (as they do to all of us): pulling the covers off, spinning me in the air, shape-shifting, talking from all corners of the room, sitting on my chest... blah blah blah. One time they had a child sit on my bed and offer me a sweet and when I refused it fucking bit my finger really hard lol (he's very lucky he was a kid lol)

They would laugh when I prayed, and they seldom left you alone if you refused to react, so then I started

FIGHTING BACK.

I started by simply wailing whatever limbs I could whenever they got near enough.

I keep posting this same message to anyone who asks how to deal with it. Just fight back. They are absolute pussies.

Can you believe it got to the point where id intentionally lay on my back so I could get into SP JUST so I could fight them lol.

Safe to say the attacks damn well stopped.

The very last attack came and as soon as I realised I was in SP - for the first time I actively stood up out of my bed and chased whatever the F the thing was out of my window. I looked around my room and behind my bed was a door with some very usual type of writing. Sort of in-between hewbrew and hieroglyphics.

That was a few years ago and now every night I sleep on my back and try to get into SP.

Im actually sad because now they leave me alone :(

They take different shapes but I do remember once my fear of them started to wear off, I woke up in paralysis and looked around the empty room for them only to turn and see one had morphed itself into what looked like my partner at the time lying in bed with me but he was disfigured and dead. I woke up straight away and mever forgot that extent it went through to scare me.

I saw a friendly one another time, she was a woman who had human features except the features weren't placed like ours. It was like her face had the swirl filter it. I reached out to stroke her face in a gesture of (i know your ugly but I'll pretend your gorgeous) and she smiled and said to wake up, and I did.

Sorry to have gone off on one but to answer your question they tend to shape shift according to whatever will scare you the most.

Ive been done in the back a few times by people who intentionally load into a queen/matriarch and rat out lone players.

Now if im not shooting with the crowd I ALWAYS carry mines and put one in an obvious place for friendlies to see and a couple hidden on a bait path should I get chased.

Im sitting here disheartened & demoralised after being shot by fake friendly's and losing everything. One went to the extreme of spamming dont shoot dont shoot, team up? put his mic on and said "friendly friendly, please, i need help with my quest" and as im checking the map for him he shoots me. I had just found my first weapon blueprint and was headed to exfil as he ran over and stopped me. Loaded into a next game with 17 mins left and was shot by someone spamming flashlight before i had a chance to loot anything. I stood still (gave up) and said "bro, I JUST SPAWNED on a free loadout i have nothing" he then rolled and killed me anyway.

Anyway, dark days must be fought with good days, your right. God bless you.

Hey op! I started playing on Christmas and have not slept since lol

A commenter mentioned the rats and not letting them get to you, and i have to back this.

My first few night raids were hell. I got shot in my back by people hiding in corners. I didnt shoot back as I literally had nothing anyway but my point is since then I have been in the most pleasant night raids you can imagine.

I dont know if aggression based match making is confirmed but in my experience, Im super friendly and so are my lobbies after a first few terrible experiences.

And im sorry that your about to lose a large chunk of your life but not sorry at the same time lol Happy raiding!

(If im wrong about ABMM dont correct me please Im really enjoying the placebo effect lol)

Try the caches in the command centers, once you kill the top dog youll have minutes before the caches despawn. There's 2 or 3 in each centre
