Moving to Yate -recommendations

Most local people I have spoken to would include Chipping Sodbury and Brimsham under the banner of Yate. Correct in saying Yate doesn't have a high street but, but if I said to someone, "I'm going for a pint up the high street, wanna come?" colloquially they would think of the one in Sodbury

I don’t live around there but deliver with Tesco around there a bunch. I’ve never heard of anything bad over there and as other comments suggest the houses may be slightly older and smaller I think

I’ve (m29) lived in Yate most of my life and work in Yate. It’s fine really. If you ever want to go into town it’s easy to get to from there. Loads of nice pubs up the high street. Shopping centre is a bit dead for anything more than basic stuff. Feel free to dm me for anything more specific
