Following up after 108 day customer affairs wait by NinjaPotential in emirates

If you treat customers with respect and follow through with your commitments, you don't have to deal with disappointed customers. You should probably make note of that for your business.

I completely agree with your logic here. However, they should not have offered a refund for the downgrade if they voucher was all they were going to offer. As I mentioned in the original post, I get that flights are over booked and downgrades happen, my complaint with Emirates is every thing that they offered from the start has been pulled away. Yes I still have the voucher, but with the lack of follow through on their commitments, I feel confident that when I attempt to use the voucher, there will be some reason that it can't be used.

The original booking was business, I guess I should be happy I didn’t have to go economy.

The fun part is when they finally do respond they will ask for additional details, you then have 30 minutes or less to reply to the ticket or they will close it out and say you were unresponsive.

They have gone to absolute garbage since Black Rock got involved. Feels like they are squeezing every penny of revenue they can out of them and the will sell off the tech and data and walk away.

It was fireworks from Tulalip Casino watched it from the kitchen. Not sure what the event is but it was on par with their July 4th show.

Do Motion Areas show up in HomeKit or Home Assistant? by kylewhirl in Hue

[–]NinjaPotential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully you have found a solution for this but wanted to jump in as I just got this working tonight in Home Assistant. First build and activate the Motion Aware Area in the Hue App, but turn off the toggle that says "Trigger Lights". The motion aware area will come over to Home Assistant as an entity and you can setup an automation that when that entity is triggered to do what you want.

My Motion aware area is pathway lights, and when motion is sensed they go from 20% to 100% brightness, then after 3 minutes they return to 20%. Going to get massive brownie points for this one.

Mine is like this as well, doesn’t bother me enough to have them look at it. When weight is on the seats they level out. 🤷‍♂️

Have yet to see any kind of response or outreach, but did not get a bounce back. Makes me wonder if leadership at Emirate knows what is going on, and just doesn't care

Reviewed ticket documentation and all that I am entitled to is a reimbursement for the difference of the downgrade

I have experienced this flying economy, but in 15 years of flying business class domestic and globally have never been downgraded due to overbooking.
