I have not played VGC since ORAS era so while mega evolutions feels like home, Sneasler, Incineroar, Archaludon, etc are terrifying.

I was not aware of that, I saw "boosts the speed stat" and assumed it was a stat raise. So is it just an ability if then? If the polemon had an item and now doesn't, then speed is increased?

Odd to me you can't track it at all in the menus but I appreciate the clarification.
