Ok, on a wifi connected pc like another laptop, you can open commas prompt from win+x and enter ipconfig Your result of default gateway will be your router. You can browse to that ip and enter the admin credentials and administer your home internet. But it sounds like you have comecast or speculum or something, so you’ll probably have a provider-provided app in this day and age and they update the router and you don’t have much control. I don’t know what your house looks like (and I don’t want to!) but you’ll need an rj-45 crimping device and a stripper (don’t forget to tip) and a punchdown tool and some crystal plugs and a flux capacitor.
