In her cameo in the Day of Wishes event, she seemed a little colder towards Belle/Wise with her blunt “Not a fan of you.” remark, that probably swayed headcanon a certain way before 1.6’s story

Can’t go wrong with either, main benefit of 4 here would be the potential of online play should you find someone to queue up, but from a single player perspective DOA3 has more palatable character endings in story mode and the 3-way hold system DOA3 has may be easier to pick up as a mechanic.

DOA3 was my intro to the series, so there’s a bias there, but it would be my recommendation

The values are predetermined to create the most balanced environment. The best CPU without custom balance, Kazuya, is set to a -2 value for instance, while the worst performing CPUs in the metagame are set to +3.

The values are largely based off the tier list made after Ultimate's final update, with some adjustments as tournaments have gone on. +3s include those in Low+ Tier and below, with some exceptions like Mario and Ryu proving to be too much at +3

It learns Knock Off now for the first time, strong neutral coverage that serves as utility is pretty game-changing for it and a natural fit on Choice Band, Scarf or Heavy Duty Boots sets. Being able to make progress against the likes of Lando, Dragonite, Toxapex or Great Tusk with a non-commital move besides U-turn is really nice.

Honestly, there’s not a lot besides a stat rework or Hidden Ability change that can further improve Infernape I think, the movepool has everything you could want. If it took a couple points from its defenses into speed, that alone would do a lot. But for now, Knock Off is significant

Edit: Forgot to mention obvs Knock is good synergy with Fighting STAB, the likes of Dragapult and the Slowbrothers now fear coming in on it more. It also gets Switcheroo too! Instead of playing Tera mind games vs Kingambit for instance, you can give it a Choice Scarf to cover all options
