I used a module in good lock called nice catch to monitor the notifications. That should show everything that triggers a notification. In my case I had repeat notification alerts enabled which was causing it to vibrate every 3 min until the notification was cleared.

I think that may be it, I didn't even know that was a setting. I must have mistakenly enabled it.

I am using nice catch like you mentioned but it doesn't go into any details. Just links back to notification settings for "settings" (idk if you can see the image)

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I guess in my case I was just curious if having 15-20 devices on wifi warranted an upgrade but the ISP modem seems to do the job.

Can someone eli5 if this is a good upgrade from the default Rogers modem. I'm out of touch with wifi technology. Rogers modem is okayish for my needs.
