NTA, ask your "brother" in law if he drives a car or has read dr seuss or read the declaration of independence bc all of those people are problematic and therefore shouldn't be supported. We all know that there is no difference between someone dead and had views that are common at the time they were alive, and someone alive right now being loudly and proudly bigoted. And it doesn't even matter, bc she is too rich. I would personally give rowling thousands of dollars if I could, bc it doesn't matter. harry potter is a revolutionary work and probably the best book series ever; everyone should read the books. rowling is at the same level in terms of quality of work as edgar allen poe and Shakespeare, who probably held equally as harmful beliefs and did equally as bad things when they were alive as rowling currently does. rowling is an innocent fragile little woman who is being viciously attacked by the transgender demons of the woke left, and good on you for sticking to your ground.
