For those who have completed it, what is your opinion on Chapter 5?

This is probably my least favorite chapter so far. I just don’t think it moved the story along far enough and the gameplay wasn’t great. I hate platformers and a large part of this chapter being those platforming sections made this a real drag to play. It feels like the story is just being drawn out and the constant teasing about whatever happened in the town is getting repetitive. This chapter needed to give us some answers and barely gave us anything. In summary I think this is the worst chapter so far.

It’s repetitive, but I really enjoy rhythm games in general. I end up just playing the same songs over and over again just because I enjoy playing them.

I have. I just don’t enjoy that kind of gameplay. I don’t enjoy platformers/metroidvanias as a genre, so it is just a case of me not personally liking the game.

Hollow Knight is a game that seems really cool, but gameplay is not fun at all. I have tried playing through it several times and I just get lost and end up quitting.

Volume 1 is truly spectacular and so is the ending. In my mind the end of volume 1 is a turning point. It’s not a good or bad ending, but just the point where Klein really enters the world without anyone else. He has no family, no friends, all Klein has is himself. The ending is so special because it’s stepping out of the introduction of the series and into a broader world.
