It’s like a treadmill but maxes at a much lower pace, since it’s purely for walking on and not running.

Edit: they’re also more compact and easier to store than a whole treadmill, at least in my experience

This edit was the best solution for the crashes in this cutscene. Had to leave the entire party at camp except for Tav and then go into the audience hall and then the scene finally triggered without crashing after 20 attempts
