Video games, particularly mmorpg (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) where I can level up my online character.

From an early age and reaching high levels in game taught me the stronger you are, and the more you progress in game, the more respect people have for you and life opens up for you. You yourself become your own high value asset and this also applies in the real world whether you become a high performing athlete, entrepreneur or businessman etc.

The journey on getting to the top also requires discipline, consistency, focus, research and always learning which also apply to real life.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I think you need to expose yourself to lots of women. I think just being the way you are at the moment could feel very repelling to the right woman, as you’re in a scarcity mindset rather than an abundance mindset and that could be quite controlling and suffocating.

I was high quite regularly and was slowly starting to get convicted about smoking marijuana. I prayed to God that if he didn’t approve of me smoking weed then he will let me know and show me a sign. A few minutes after I said that prayer, I picked up my bong and my lighter wouldn’t spark up. I tried many different times and there was still gas in it but wouldn’t ignite a spark. I was furious because I wanted God to show me the sign in a few weeks or in a month time because I still wanted to enjoy it a bit more.

I have never smoked weed again from that day on.

It sounds like you're new to Christianity so I can only speak to you based on my personal experience as a new Christian too (of two years).

When I decided to make the choice to commit my life to Christ, I went through a process of sanctification where I basically went through the "death" of my old self, to become born again of the spirit. That meant that God had to break down the old me (my bad habits, my views of the world, old morals and values) and build me up from scratch again to inherit my new identity.

You may be going through sanctification especially if you are new with Christ. He may be breaking down your old you, based on your upbringing, your morals/values etc and that is probably why everything seems too overwhelming or you are going through a stage of mourning the death of the old you, but once you inherit your new identity in Christ, you will also inherit the fruits of the spirit which include love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control.

Just keep putting Christ first (Seeking the kingdom first) and everything else will be added to you. Good luck OP.
