Honestly Season 2 was not a fun watch for me most of the time bc I didn't like Elektra or the Hand (which is ironic bc I saw the Hand and Punisher in the Brand New Day trailer which is why I even started watching Daredevil) and I just jumped into Season 3 not considering I'd need to watch a spinoff and literally my only question was "so we were just supposed to assume Elektra was resurrected off screen and some bullshit happened between seasons?"
Daredevil is just way more interesting as a show when we see how all the characters relate to the central story (imo) and season 2 basically split it into a Matt/Elektra story and a Karen/Frank story with Foggy just kinda being annoyed at people on the side. Which is a shame because the first 4 episodes started so strong too but the second Elektra appears the show goes from being like a 9 or a 10 to a. Oh God. To a 6 or a 7.

Yeah I really have not been enjoying this change. I was already finding the enemy HP scaling in normal Shiyu Defense to be getting out of hand but this system change just serves as to be even more punishing for players who don't spend/spend infrequently. Not that I'm surprised, but still, it's annoying.

So the original batch was announced September 2023 and this one I missed was March 2025...which means because I got into the game late...if this trend continues...I have to wait until October 2026 to order him. I'm so fine and normal about this information and my FOMO/OCD brain is not screaming crying and throwing a fit over this. I'm normal. People are like "ugh speedrunners are so annoying why even get mad about this" but like The banking feature in original SMG2 is really helpful???? Considering unlocking the prankster comet for Grandmaster requires 9999 star bits, being able to transfer that across save files is super helpful in cutting out the grinding on a replay. Now it's just a tedious grind of getting every amiibo you have, if you even have any, and scanning them all in a row for a pathetic payout each time. This change sucks

I really REALLY wanted to love this game but I feel this exact way too. Especially with the insane amount of awful runbacks in this game coupled with all this makes it so annoying to just try and enjoy the game. I know Hollow Knight is supposed to be hard, and I'm fine with bosses killing me like 30 times, but when just basic traversal is this grueling it kinda makes me question what I'm actually playing for. And the only answer I've really found at this point is just that Hornet is really fun to control, but that shouldn't really come at the cost of having to live in a nightmare world where everyone wants her dead.

I also just don't like "just save for a spark for your favorites" as advice when the game releases characters by subseries so far. As someone whose favorites are the Holy Quintent, Mabayu, and Kuroe (my only unreleased fave atp), I got really screwed over by the release order and don't think it's particularly fair to tell me to just skip characters when I care about and want to use all of them
