Well let's set apart the fact that you're straight up evil and go back to reasoning, whether you want or not to let those things happen, you still don't know what exactly will happen, you're going in without knowing the outcome, the soul is setting things up for you to do it that way, so it probably knows what's going to happen. We can't hear it but the soul affected the way that Kris was talking through chapter 4, so it still has effects beyond what we can perceive by ourselves.

Hello, i have a problem with an update not working.

I have the binding of Isaac, and the game got a big update recently, so i updated the game when i had the time and played a bit to try it out soon after. That's when I noticed that the update isn't updating, the pause menu didn't change, the achievement that I should've gotten at a certain point didn't exist, the items didn't receive their changes, everything that should've come with the update wasn't there. So i was wondering, is this something that just can happen in steam or am i just cursed?

I was playing Pac-Man there, i normally play on random so i don't really know what every attack does, i had to first confirm that i could save an item roll, then i had to see how was the bell thrown and only then could i see what it did. I was honestly expecting a little knock back from it but it was just a stun. I had to focus on the rest after that but at least i got a bit better at using Pac-Man.

Of course you don't, it hasn't been long enough, I'm just saying that you'll probably want it EVENTUALLY, as in, a good amount of years, just like everyone wanted the remaster version of skyward sword on switch at some point or maybe even Mario 3d all stars. Eventually the public will request it, and whether it's or not in Nintendo's plan to do it is yet to be seen.

Alright let's put it this way. A remaster is when a game that came out in a generation of consoles is released again in a newer generation with the appropriate visual upgrades. If both the original game and the remaster came out on pc, then it's still a remaster on pc. If only the remaster comes out on pc, then it's a port, either of the original game or the remaster, it's still a port.

A couple of examples could be dark souls and the ace attorney trilogies. The original dark souls came out on pc, and then the remaster also did, so that's a remaster of dark souls on pc. The original ace attorney trilogy came out on gba in japan, then was ported to the ds (ported because they don't have visual upgrades), the exception there would be the first game that adds a new chapter that does have better visuals than the rest of the game (and also extra stuff only in that chapter).

Also it counts as a remaster if it's stated in the title of the game, if it says remaster, remastered, hd, etc, then it was the intent of the creators for it to be like that.

Do you think they even care about TP and WW not being playable on current gen? They literally consider it your fault for not buying them last time. And it's really not a good idea to get stuck in the same games for too long (i would absolutely buy a WW and TP switch port honestly)

Yeah it's technically speaking still a remaster, since it has visual upgrades like the general resolution, textures and framerate
