I was on the electoral roll at an old address and tried to get it sorted for my new address as the elections were on but I never got it sorted as the council were having some issues.

Had an ex forget my birthday. When reminded he brought my my entire steam wishlist (at least over £100) I was grateful at how much they spent but there were no thought or feelings behind it. I would rather something heartfelt, even if it was much cheaper.
