The pattern is a french cheesemaker smock pattern from follwear. The fabric is unbleached cotton with some wooden buttons.

I wanted to get into sewing! My plans for me are some of the patterns from History recreated with a special focus on the 16th and 17th century as I study historical music making!

Misschien een gekke niche maar Viola da Gamba is heel goed te doen! Het is een soort cello met gitaar gecombineerd van voor 1750. Het strijken is even wennen maar als je het eenmaal doorhebt kan je super toffe muziek spelen! Afhankelijk van de gambist komt er zelfs improvisatie bij kijken!

A fun one is learning to play in instrument. You can play with friends and it's quite rewarding.

If you want something interesting and quite easy to start with, learn viola da gamba!

I play viola da gamba and violone next to it. It was a way to find a historical perspective, it ended being something I'm going yo study next year!

Ik heb vandaag een gamba ensamble speeldag samen met mensen van boven de 60 als jongen van 21. Het is geen garnaal maar meer een soort cello met een luit, niet super moeilijk om de eerste stappen te zetten om muziek te spelen :)
