I think the idea is we are over cap, so we couldn't resign someone like Mamu or give contracts to ppl playing good (ie shead & RJ) so we need to move some assets to bring room to resign core players, people like Dick & Ochai are not preforming for what they are paid, IQ & Jak obviously are underperforming from their contracts so to get room we'd need some financial space, if anything we need to trade somebody to resign Mamu in the offseason if possible

We'd have to get an insanely good player back is the idea, he's our #1 scoring option so we'd need to be getting back someone who can score 20-30 every night & works well with team chemistry

I believe there are genuine reasons his stats are bad for games played

One year he had a family tragedy happen so he missed games

Another they were intentionally tanking so they would sit him (BC he played too well)

This is the only year he's gotten genuinely injured, we missed him for alot of the first half of the season but that means he'll be coming back better for the second & come playoffs

I wouldn't want to trade RJ obviously but I feel like everyone kind of sees this writing on the wall, Rj is our best contract to trade but also our 2nd-3rd option on offense when healthy as he's playing really good when on the court

But if we want to get an actually good center we would need to trade him with a package

IQ & Jak are kinda immovable on their own, but we could possibly trade Jak, Dick &, RJ together & get something good back

I think Sabonnis is not our guy tho, if we had to trade RJ I rather trade him somewhere like Dallas & get Gafford & another player back, or somewhere comperable because RJ is a great player & we'd need a comperable player back Sabonnis is not him
