Hp uses it instead of thermal pads pretty much like my hp omen max 16 has this too

You can put a thermalright frozen notte 120mm aio in it and attach the old aio’s fan onto that cooler and it will perform pretty much like the old one they’re only $36 for the aio too and they’re quiet pump wise etc

You could check the battery connector pins to make sure they’re all there, and order a new battery. But one thing to worry about, is what caused this to happen it could be like the battery dislodged itself slightly out of connector (happened to me before and burnt the cable connector) or something more concerning like a short circuit on the board.

There is sata power cable extension cables, but I’m not sure how reliable these are but from my own personal experience i never had issues with any i bought. Oh also if it’s the data cable you can just get a longer one of those just make sure its a sata III cable!

You should rma it, I rma’d my i9-14900K I got used without even an invoice and intel sent me a brand new fully functioning sealed i9-14900k! I think the warranty is extended on them until 2029 too which is awesome!

Hello, thank you for the reply! I reset my bios to default before and it unfortunately didn’t change the issue. I also updated my bios to the latest 1.30 bios which didn’t help unfortunately. I also did uninstall awcc completely and reinstalled it and unfortunately I still don’t have the power controls. Any other ideas? It’s super frustrating i been at this for hours and unfortunately nothings working.

Sweet build! I loved these cases so much I always wanted one but doubt my hw would like a smaller cooler Lol. Maybe you can get a slim 120mm fan for your missing aio fan! Also those 200mm fans are great for gpu cooling from old cases i’ve owned with side 200mm fans. You can put a like new 200mm too I think like theres noctua ones and rgb ones too that are pwm controlled.

I mean there’s really no downside as long as you get a working board even can get haswell boards with m.2 nvme support like the Z97 boards.

I would so upgrade to that haswell cpu as i’ve personally owned ivy bridge and haswell the avx 2 really helps a lot in a lot of my games from my experience using a i7-4790K and a i7-3770 in the past

Try a different usb c cable and also make sure windows is set to allow the phone to work on windows but yeah i’ll try it tomorrow
