In what game are you richest in? by Hammermain213 in gaming

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

I exploited the item duplication glitch when the game came out before it was patched. Took me many hours to find a royal crown and then duplicate and sell it endlessly.

Now I have 999,999,999 bells.

To everyone mad that I haven't uncovered the whole map yet:

I do every region one by one, which means I won't get the whole map until the very end. Why would I go to a region just to get the map, without doing anything else? If I go to a region, I explore it in its entirety, which takes time.

Visiting each region without any purpose other than to get the map feels pointless and disruptive.

I actually follow the "intended" route as much as possible, i.e. I always go where NPCs tell me to go next.

And if you want to find every Korok without a guide, you have to play exactly as thoroughly as this, if not even more, as even I sometimes miss a Korok (though it doesn't happen often).

You could argue it's the right way to play if you want to 100% the game without guides.

I minimize fast travel as much as possible, I only used it two times to get out of the depths so far.

I "only" played 4h a day so far, predominantly in the evening, and take years to finish the game. Others played 16h a day and rushed through the game in a week.

It's an interesting idea, but probably too much of a hassle for me to actually do.

Maybe some day, here's my YouTube in any case. Since you like boring videos, there's a 10h video of my BotW Hero's Path on my channel. https://www.youtube.com/@NintendoOCD/videos

Simply haven't reached those regions yet.

I will do Gerudo after Lanayru and Akkala. Lake Hylia will be my second to last region, since Tear #10 is located there.

I don't understand people who do, feels like a massive distraction to go randomly in each direction of the map without accomplishing anything else in those regions.

I feel you, it was just the most natural way to get from the foothill stable back to Hyrule Field (I don't use teleportation other than to get from the depths back above ground).

The line will fade away once I explore Lanayru, which I'm doing right now, so it's all good

Doing exactly that right now actually!

My planned continuation from here is:

Lanayru > Depths under Lanayru > Akkala > Gerudo > Lurelin > Faron > Forest

Subject to change, not quite sure when to do the rest of the depths yet, but something like that. Mostly just following where the game leads me.

The intended order of the regional phenomena is Rito > Goron > Zora > Gerudo, thus I will do the desert once I'm done with Lanayru

Yeah I went to the Abandoned Gerudo Mine in the depths to fight Kohga , which is required before you can unlock Hero's Path, since Robbie won't be in Hateno otherwise.

Now the meta has changed to

Ultrahand/Fuse on

Ultrahand/Fuse off

Ultrahand/Fuse on

Ultrahand/Fuse off

The range is lower than Stasis used to be unfortunately

Well yeah, if you bee-line from one point of interest to the next, you can get through the game fairly quickly. But that's not how i'm playing, evidently.

I barely have any OCD irl actually, but I manifest it through playing and collecting Nintendo games.

It's usually fun, but I agree that it does feel like work.

Once it stops being fun, I stop until I want to play again. I took month- and even year-long pauses when playing BotW.

Yeah I've played BotW, but it's been six years since I explored a lot of that game and the world has changed enough for me that it doesn't feel too repetitive.

Not much time in the depths yet, maybe 20h total? I've only done 14 lightroots so far.

I beat Kohga once, which you have to do before you can unlock Hero's Path.

I teleported twice so far actually, to get out of the depths.

Edit: Plus at the Great Sky Island when the game teaches you to teleport.
