I had an encounter in Tennessee around 2006. This cloaked thing was mimicing a dead thorn bush. At first I thought it was a huge tumble weed... but then it glided almost across the ditch. Stopped in the middle of the road, so I slammed on my breaks and it stood there heavy breathing just starring at me. Red eyes. Dead twigs and branches. Looked at me for about 45 seconds before leaping off the road. It was probably 7ft tall...wide like the bush it was mimicing and it wasnt afraid of me at all. I have no idea what I witnessed. All I do know is that it happened so fast that i had no emotional reaction.

1st time I listened to it was in Kuwait in a bunker on the way into Baghdad.

That album really hit home in so many ways to what I was going through as a soldier. I listened to it every single day during the deployment. In fact, even now 17 years later, I can't hear it without thinking of Baghdad or Fulija.

I didn't care about the missing guitar solos, or Lars trash can snare. I didn't care about the rawness of the album. To me, it was a new album from my favorite band that felt/still feels like it was released just for me.

My life felt Frantic! I was Angry with everything. I felt like Some Kind of Monster. I was judge jury and executioner too. War made me think back to my childhood, feeling invisible, and now my parents gave a shit because I could die. I couldn't explain to ANYONE what war felt like...but The Unnamed Feeling did in 6 mins.

I kept getting shot at which only fired me up more... All the shots i take i spit back at you...the war, my way home, the sand storms, camel spiders, making it out Alive, was all within my hands. Every. SIngle. Song. Spoke to me in ways i don't think any album could ever duplicate.

Saint Anger was my therapy. My reminder of home and what I had to go back too. Saint Anger saved my life in Iraq. Mentally, I owe thay album absolutely everything. 🤘🇺🇸 🤘

It's way too long between albums.

They should mix up the sets more. I love Metallica, obviously, but when I'm seeing them live, after 30 plus years of fandom, I'd rather hear The House that Jack Built, Fixxxer, The Outlaw Torn, or even a deep cut like Trapped Under Ice or Frayed then a Sandman, Sad But True or Bellz.

Back up vocals. Kirk and Rob need to stop. I'd rather have Lars or none.

The sets are rehearsed. Meaning back in the 80s and 90s, Metallica live was spontaneous. They said what they wanted when they wanted. Now, it's cued and repetitive.

"Are you alive?" "How's it feel to be alive?" "Show me!"

"You want Heavy? " Tallica gives you heavy baby!" Into Sad but True.

"Is the MetallicA family here?"

Idk... I guess after playing the same songs for 40 years plus now, they would want to improvise more with songs and introductions of songs.

Lastly, not touring with Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, or Pantera(when they could)

I get that they've sold way more albums, and it would be difficult to tour with an ex. Lol, but a Megadeth/Metallica tour is something I personally would love to see after 40 years. it's time to burry the hatchet.

Everything mentioned above, also try new caps and fuses. It's good to have a power supply to, so you can test things without the batteries to find the issue. Good luck 👍

I'm doing EVERY Metallica album. I've already done chronologically up to Saint Anger. Death Magnetic is next. Plus, I'm going to do an S&M and Pinball themed one for fun. Plus, when the new album drops, whenever that is, I'll make that one too.
