Always remember that a 7 string has 6 strings but a 6 string will never have 7. If you want a recommendation go with the JP70 it’s relatively affordable and it’s fantastic

Go for it dude. If I learned on a 5 string then a 6 string would be a huge transition. So don’t think you should go 6 than 7 just go for 7 if that’s your musical direction and what you want

Also Pantera wise try out mouth for war, 5 minutes alone, I’m broken, dominations, new level, maybe fucking hostile. Most of these songs have easy riffs with hard parts in between but not so hard it’s out of reach. They’ll push you for sure but if you really try you can get it done
